Sold:Zippy 14.3-15hh- ish(I need to put a stick on him), stout. Grade QH gelding 14yo. Easy going beginner walk trot extraordinaire. If you stop riding he stops going. Push ride. Does not want to canter so is perfect for those beginner walk trot riders. Not spooky, great for farrier, loads like a dream, respectful ground manners. Easy keeper. Anyone can ride him. *I do not have to sell him, but he’s just not as busy in our program with so many students advancing and limited instructor availability for new students coming in.

Looking for new barn: Sugar is a small pony mare. 12.2hh, 14yo. Great party pony. Loads flawlessly, brave, same on and off property. Not spooky, easy for kids to handle. She does Girl Scout camps every summer for beginners. Outside of working closely with an instructor for beginner riders she will require a more assertive rider for upper level work to keep her moving as she is lazy and will readily stop/can be a bit stubborn with a new rider initially. She will however jump the moon for a rider that she bonds with. PM for details.

ALL AROUND PONY Looking for new barn: Joe is a stout large pony(14hh) 14yo appy gelding. Previously advertised on our page as being geared more towards trail riding/trail obstacle but boy has he surprised us! I admittedly stopped pushing to sell Joe as I REALLY like him and he really likes me too 🤣 but we have too many horses. Joe has matured into arena work, developed more stamina, has begun working over fences and even has his flying changes making him an awesome all around pony! What a gem! Misty- Paint Mare 14yo-15hh. Looking for a new barn to call home. Misty would excel as a trail mount, small program or one person ride. Outside of the arena she is eager and enthusiastic. She will do arena work as well but is not a fan of going through multiple riders each week. She has taught so many kids to ride through the years and now wants to bond with someone more consistently. Joe- Stout Appy Gelding 14yo, 14hh. In your pocket, first one to meet you at the gate. If we had trails, this guy would never leave! Not afraid of anything. Looking for a better fit than our program gives him as Joe lacks enthusiasm and energy for arena work(will he do it, absolutely) but we can tell he would be happier blazing the trails or riding around the farm. *Upcoming 🐎 looking for their perfect situation* Wanted to make sure I put notice/offer out for these lovely horses/ponies to our barn family before these guys are posted publicly on bigger groups. Will be working on some videos this week. Some of these guys would be best suited for a 1 or 2 person family rides, trail ride home or smaller lesson programs. Others just haven’t had enough of a job lately and have been sitting.
We will be tearing down/redoing all of our back pastures and are limited on spacing so great motivation/time to put these guys out there to help make that space. Otherwise I would likely keep holding onto them.

📢 Hidden Springs IEA Team Interest Meeting, August 10th 3:30pm at Hidden Springs Stables. If you are interested in joining the team or learning more about it, please RSVP with your instructor if you are a current student or for new possible riders text your name and some information about your current riding level/any questions you may have to Michelle at 919-868-6404. If you are interested but cannot make it to the meeting please convey that through the above channels as well.

Riders of all experience levels from Beginner Walk-Trot to Varsity Open are welcome. IEA utilizes a unique draw-based team competition format whereby riders are not required to own their own horse or riding tack to participate – providing greater affordability and access to the sport. This format also prepares students for college riding/competition. Please message us if you are interested in joining. Practices are beginning now. We will have an informational meeting in August for both interested/new and returning members. We are based in Fuquay Varina NC.

Don’t forget we offer Group Rides and Birthday Parties with the best horses and ponies around! These rides are arena based with activity/instruction, not your average pony ride. *Farm Fresh Eggs*
$5/dozen or $4/dozen if you trade in egg cartons in good condition. $7.50/18 pack or $6/18 pack with carton trade in. Pick up is at Hidden Springs Stables in Fuquay Varina. You do not need an appt for pick up, just text 919-868-6404 to request/ensure egg availability then pick up in our barn lounge refrigerator any time from 8:00am-8:00pm any day of the week. Payment via cash(drop box), venmo, paypal or cash app.

These eggs are unwashed so they last longer until you are ready to use them. Unwashed eggs stay good for a couple months in the fridge. We keep clean nesting areas so the eggs are rarely dirty. They are also unfertilized(we have a couple roosters that we keep separately in the event we want to raise more chicks one day but we do not keep them in with our hens.) Our hens are fed a consistent diet of Country Layer feed, crazy eight scratch feed and fresh veggies every day.

Currently looking to fill Several positions at Hidden Springs Stables in Fuquay Varina NC.

1) Looking to hire a PAID English and/or Western Instructor. Must be reliable, hard working, friendly, experienced and able to maintain a consistent schedule. Safety is Paramount! Looking for someone who is knowledgable, energetic and attentive. We have many GREAT safe, talented beginner level thru experienced lesson horses suitable for huntseat, western, and dressage disciplines.

2) If you are an instructor with an existing clientele looking for a great group of lesson horses, we have availability for paid usage of our lesson horses and opportunity to grow your lesson program even more!

3) Volunteer/Working Student opportunities. This is not a monetary pay position however these hours can be exchanged for leases, catch rides or lessons. Must have reliable transportation and horse experience.

To apply for instructor positions you must be 18 or older. Looking for a professional who is capable of working with both children and adults. Must be reliable, have great communication skills, friendly/professional demeanor, hard working and knowledgeable.

We have a great group of instructors here already and run a well organized facility/program that is very easy to step into. About 75-80% of incoming clientele is hunter jumper however we do offer western and dressage as well. We host camps, IEA team, IHSA and attend one schooling show per month Mar-Oct.
