Welcome this guy to the farm! His name is Goliath. He’s huge and a dun. You don’t see dun’s this big very often. I don’t know what he is; a draft cross of some sort. His owners bought him from a dealer. He was represented as a beginner safe horse. He is not! He has already bucked them off a few times. I don’t blame the owners, I blame the dealers that insist on representing horses falsely. This gets people hurt and puts horses in danger. This is a big reason I have a business, but I’d rather work with people to teach them how to do fun things with their horses; not to always have to fix what they bought from someone with a greedy ego. Some dealers are good, but most are not, in my opinion…
If you are in the market for a horse, find someone and pay them to help you search. A reputable trainer who can see through the BS and find you a safe horse! Rant over…

Bandit is a special 19yo 12.2h registered welsh pony gelding looking for a special home. He’s had a rough start in life as he was part of a neglect situation. Now, however, he is happy, handled daily and the best companion and babysitter to baby horses, adult horses and everything in between. He is not a riding candidate as he wasn’t handled much until his late teens. He is, however, fantastic for everything else! Grooming, bathing, leading, easily caught and loves to live in it out! Please help me find this guy the best soft landing he could ask for!

Horse show in the morning, teaching ponies how to bathe in the afternoon! Rhys and Clover 🍀

🎉🎉🎉🎉 Available 🎉🎉🎉🎉 2yo Welsh/QH rose grey mare. Very sweet and easy. Beautiful trot! Will finish out top of the line large. Crossties, loves to be groomed, learning about the clippers, good for bathing, mane pulling, farrier, learning to lunge. Located in Pipersville, pa. Mid 4’s.

Took Link off the farm this morning for a jump school. First time out since December and we picked up right where we left off. He was a good boy… Now, just spending a little time hanging out with him while he does what he loves… (but always from afar, of course, so I don’t lose a finger or hand 🦁🤣)

Super fun jumping bridless on Danny, 6yo Conemara. He rushed the first time, but the second time he listened to my voice and body and waited nicely.

Oaken is a horse I got in a few months ago and I posted about him that he wouldn’t stop bucking. He’s come such a long way. No more buck and he’s doing great under saddle. A little on the lazy side in fact. He’s a Jazz foal and they are known for being a little hot. I think this guy is just right!

Thankful for an amazing 2023 and looking forward to an even better 2024! Happy New Year 🎆

Saddled Ciri for the first time today. She bucked hard at first and I had to get out of the way because she came right at me, but it’s didn’t last long. I normally don’t have to move but she came hard in my direction. It makes sense why a bucking horse was not in her future. Our hope is that she continues to improve and we can ride her safely. The video progression is about a minute or so and is pretty typical of a normal first day with the saddle for most horses. They figure it out pretty quickly. But with Ciri, it will take a while for her to trust the process.
