POTENTIAL OWNER: How much is the puppy?
BREEDER: $2,500 USD
POTENTIAL OWNER: What?? It's way too expensive!!
BREEDER: What do you think would be a good price?
POTENTIAL OWNER: No more than $500. You breeders are so over priced.
BREEDER: I am sorry you see it this way, why don't you try it yourself?
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I've never done it!
BREEDER: For FREE I can teach you how to do it, and in addition you will have the knowledge to do it again.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Perfect, thank you!
BREEDER: To start you will need a female(minimal cost $2,500 and up). Also a male(minimal cost $2,500 and up) or semen (average $1000 and up). You will need to do genetic & health testing on them, averages about $750 per dog. Raise and provide daily care and feeding for 2 years.
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have that much money...
BREEDER: For $500 you can raise a litter for me and then keep one of the puppies. Obviously, you also have to pay the cost of whelping & care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: I can do that.
BREEDER: OK so I have a female due to whelp in 2 weeks. You will need to be available 24/7 around the clock for at least 8 weeks to help with delivery and care. Possibly tube or bottle feed puppies every 2-3 hours if the mom is low on milk the first couple weeks.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Eight weeks?? it's way too much time for me! I have to work.
BREEDER: You may also need the reproductive vet to do xrays($200-$500), possibly progesterone testing($75-$250) & a C-section($1000-$5000) and initial vet care on pups until old enough to be placed. Pups vets exams ($250 and up depending on how many puppies are in the litter)
Have on hand a scale, thermometer, latex gloves, sanitizer, absorbent tissues, scissors, hemostats, heating pad, whelping box, blankets, cleaning supplies, appropriate food with supplements for mothers, formula, medications & hand feeding supplies in case of emergency....
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have all these things!
BREEDER: For $1000 you can buy them.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Ummm .... You know, I think it might be better if I just buy a puppy.
BREEDER: Wise decision.
For us breeders there are no vacations or holidays, while you go to visit with family & friends we are home at our dogs side caring for them. It is a no breaks commitment.
THIS IS THE REALITY
When you choose a professional, you don't only pay for the puppy but also:
Tools, knowledge, experience, love, time, sacrifices, etc...

Adding Mahli to our family forever changed our lives.
We no longer could just leave for days, one night, or for hours. We had to wake up and take her out multiple times a night, listen to the whines-that woke up the kids, teach her not to chew up anything that wasn't her toy, pay vet bills, adjust to her sensitivity to foods, the p**p, the p*e.
It was a lot.
Fast Forward 2 yrs of training, loving, paying, playing, praying, treating, cleaning, and feeding.
The one person - yep, she's a person - that is always happy to see me.
So sad to watch me shut the door goodbye, even if just for 4 minutes bc I've forgot something and I come back in for more love and goodbyes.
Begs to sleep in bed with me.
Begs to sit with me on the couch.
Begs to be near me even on my worst of days.
The unconditional dedication.
When she 1st came home, it was an adjustment.
For all of us, even her.
But here we are, 2 yrs later.
Just those 2 yrs has me wondering how I will ever not have her here. How I would pay whatever and whoever I need to help her, heal her, whatever she needed.
It may have seemed outrageous of me to spend 2k on an animal you say, but what if you could spend 2k to change your life.
They change your life forever.
Dedicate to them, and they will dedicate to you.

It's the spots for me. She has white spots from her chin down to her belly and they get me everytime she looks up at me. You know those dogs that lay flat on there belly and their back legs look like a chicken..well if you don't, this girl loves to lay flat like a pancake lol my spunky purple girl is so playful and when you hold her she wants you to hold her like a toddler on your hip. My sweet woolybooger. Ms. Aquafina is the loner of the group. She likes her peace and her own crate. The perfect pup for someone who is less active and wants a cuddle buddy that doesn't leave an outrageous amount of black hair everywhere. She has one white toe, one. On her back left ring toe. It's so unique and super fluffy. Her coat outshines the rest, literally. She's very gentle when she plays and that's a behavior that is so hard to conquer with most pups. #faithfuldoods #f1bgoldendoodle #doodlelove
Our 4lb sassafras 💟 This tiny girl is near and dear to our hearts. She's half the size of Green Goblin, but the vet said she's just as mighty as the rest! Her personality is the cutest. She a paw popper, those legs are the cutest to watch and you can see a lil peep of that below. Obviously she's so tiny the basket doesn't show her cute lil self, but that precious face says enough. This is Mahli's personality twin! She's escaped everything I've come up with except for her actual crate lol just like her momma! I know exactly who she'll be when she grows up and she'll make someone so happy, but you must train her. She will love the obedience, it's her love language. I'm sure these traits have carried over into all of these sweet babies, but she reminds me most of my precious Mahli girl🐾
This is our Big Ole Boy Green! He is the biggest of the bunch and the vet was so shocked at how large he was in comparison to the others. Anytime he's out in the house he always wants on the couch, so you best have a big one for this baby. He's our gentle giant and one of the few we have that love a good belly rub. Meet Espresso🤎 This girl is the most active of the bunch. She will outplay the best of them. The black sheep of the family is the only one full of blacks, reds, and browns. I'd say she's brindle, but her large black spots are the most unique I've ever seen. Oh the love I have for those brown eye brows and that fluffy colorful chest. This boy is the runt of the litter, so of course he has stolen our hearts. He has now become the 2nd to smallest in the litter and we are so proud of him. His tail is ALL THE WAY curled up. Watching him prance is the cutest thing. Faithful ole' Bluey! This guy is such a sweet boy. He plays so gentle and would make a family so happy with his cuddles. His coat is so soft and one of our only pups that's completely black. Welcome to Faithful Doods. We raise up Goldendoodles in various colors that come from genetically health tested parents that are our own family pets. Our puppies are born in my home and are raised alongside my family until you take them to your home, their forever home. Our goal is to raise sweet tempered puppies that are genetically sound and well socialized. With 2 small children and 3 dogs I can assure that your new puppy will be well loved, socialized and adjusted to the sights and sounds of everyday life in a busy, family home.
