Have you heard our proposed pet food ingredient facility will stink? It won't! 🚫👃

The building is designed to be kept at negative pressure, containing odors in the facility. When a door opens, the negative pressure keeps air and odors from escaping outward. The facility will employ a thermal oxidizer, which is 99 percent effective at collecting and destroying VOCs (volatile organic compounds), meaning discharge is carbon dioxide, nitrogen and clean water v***r. All of these elements are odorless.

The FAA has confirmed what we have stated all along: A state-of-the-art pet food ingredient plant would have no impact on local airport traffic. ✈️

We remain confident that we can partner to help Gadsden grow with great-paying jobs and local investments that will benefit the community. We believe this ruling from the FAA only strengthens our proposal before the Gadsden Airport Authority.
