Both April/May ‘24 and June/July ‘24 posted together.
Yesterday was probably one of the best dissections we’ve had. Everyone had fabulous questions and observations. We were able to change the way we look at the hoof and have an easier process for looking ahead. Knowing how you’re manipulating your soft tissue, exactly how much of the foot is soft tissue, and being able to visualize about where your structures sit with in the capsule goes such a long way!
June/July Class as 2 weeks left and I would love to know how their approach has changed now after seeing and feeling every thing.
Probably the most impactful piece of information from this cadaver was bone loss, a crack or void will always means something more, and being able to see how a lamellar wedge forms behind the crack and fills in the void at the coffin bone behind it.
Of course my time here wouldn’t have been complete with a Beginner Farrier Business Class. Farrier school is definitely the easier part. Running a business can bury you faster than an ill tempered horse can.
If you’re a student in either class please send me some of your photos and videos 2564871352
