We have some massive and exciting things brewing behind the scenes… but right now, we need ONE thing most of all: ADOPTIONS.

That’s why we’ve HALVED adoption fees for approved applicants. 🙌 We need to CLEAR THE RESCUE so we can keep saving more lives. 💙

✨🐾 Meet Baby & Bella 🐾✨

These two beautiful pups are looking for their forever homes! 💙

Baby 🐶 – a 3-year-old brown Pomeranian with a fluffy coat and a gentle heart. He loves attention and would thrive in a family ready to shower him with love (and treats!).

Bella 🐶 – a 2-year-old Pomeranian/Eskimo mix with a stunning blue merle and white coat. She’s a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’s incredibly sweet and loyal.

Both are full of love and ready to bring joy into the right homes. 🏡

💙 Adoption fees are currently HALF OFF for approved applicants!

Last week, sweet Juno was adopted, but returned shortly after due to unexpected circumstances in her new home. 💔 While we were sad to see her come back, something beautiful happened — her original foster decided to keep her forever! 🐾💙

So while Juno’s story has its happy ending, we still need to clear space in rescue for other Huskies who need us. To help, we’re offering half-off adoption fees for approved applicants.

Marion County Animal Services reached out to us about this gorgeous red Husky girl 💔 She’s only 10 months old, with one striking blue eye and one sable eye.

We cannot help her without a foster. Foster homes are the lifeline of rescue — without them, dogs like her don’t get a second chance.

🚨🚐 We need help!

Our rescue van – the heartbeat of Swampland Husky Rescue – is down. After spending $1,700 on an oil pan gasket replacement, we’ve now been hit with the news that it needs a full transmission replacement costing $5,800.

This van isn’t just transportation. It’s how we:
🐾 Save Huskies from shelters and unsafe situations
🐾 Get them to vet appointments and surgeries
🐾 Bring them to meet their forever families

Without it, rescue stops. And stopping isn’t an option.

We need this van. The Huskies need this van. 💔

This Labor Day weekend brought double the joy—both Juno and Camila found their forever homes! 🐾💙 We’re absolutely over the moon for these sweet girls as they begin their brand-new adventures with their families.

Rescue is truly a labor of love. While we celebrate Juno and Camila, our hearts are still with our long-term stay pups who have been waiting so patiently. They deserve the same chance at love, comfort, and family. 🐶💕

🌈🐾 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🐾🌈

Today, we pause to honor the beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge — and for us, we hold Freya especially close in our hearts. 💖

Freya was more than just a rescue; she was family. She was joy, light, and love wrapped up in a Husky’s beautiful spirit. Though her paws no longer walk beside us, her memory runs deep in everything we do. She is so deeply loved and still so very missed. 🖤

On this day, we remember not only Freya but all of the incredible souls we’ve had the honor of loving and saying goodbye to. Each one leaves paw prints that last forever.

Tomorrow is a BIG day — Baby, Bella, and Camila are heading in for their spay/neuter appointments! 💙💗

💙 Baby – our goofy, handsome boy is officially available for pre-adoption!
💗 Bella – our sweet, shy girl is also available for pre-adoption!
💗 Camila – this gentle soul already has a meet & greet lined up after her spay!

We are so proud of how far these three have come and can’t wait to see them start their journey toward forever homes. 🏡✨

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED – FLORIDA (dog currently in NC) 🚨

We’ve been contacted about a young Husky whose life is on the line.

🐾 Male, about 1 year old, appears purebred
🐾 Currently in Durham, NC — transport can be arranged
🐾 Stray hold ends in just a few days and the shelter plans to euthanize him because of one fear-based growl in the chaotic lobby

This boy does not deserve to die for being scared in a stressful situation. He bonded quickly with the person who found him, and he just needs a chance outside of the shelter.

👉 We need an experienced foster home in Florida to save him.
