As we want to be available for our clients and patients while also considering the safety of our amazing staff, we will open as normal Friday morning at 8:00am and close by 12pm. We will open with normal business hours on Monday January 13 at 8:00am. Animal Emergency of Gainesville will be open Friday January 10 at 6:00pm until Monday January 13 at 8:00am.

‼️WINTER WEATHER CONTIGENCY PLANS‼️

We are closely monitoring the predictions for winter weather in our area for this Friday and Saturday (January 10th and 11th)!
At this time, we do not have plans to close our offices, however, we do live in Georgia and these predictions could end up being accurate!
In the event that we do get ice/snow, the safety of our patients, clients, and staff is our utmost concern and will take priority in our decision making process over the next couple of days.

We urge all of our clients to call for refills on medications and/or food today and tomorrow to make sure they have what they need to get through the weekend.
We also encourage those that have current boarding reservations or need to board your pets through the weekend to call for reservations and drop off your pets before we close on Thursday afternoon.

We currently have plenty of room in our boarding facilities for any pets that need a warm and dry place to stay over the weekend. PLEASE do not leave your pets outside in this weather without a warm and dry place to stay 🙏

We will update all of our clients with our contingency plans through THIS POST as well as email if we decide it is in the best interest to close.
(If your email is not registered in our system to receive updates, reminders, and access your pet desk account, now is the PERFECT time to get enrolled ☺️)

12/31/24 UPDATE- Sophie has found a new home!!

UPDATE: Sophie already has a family meeting set for tomorrow!

Due to unfortunate circumstances, little miss Sophie is needing a new home. Sophie is a 2 year old poodle/schnauzer mix that is house and crate trained, weighing approximately 15 lbs.
