We ask today that you keep our staff in your thoughts and remember to be kind. Today we had to say goodbye to our beloved clinic cat Walter. If you came to BBAH you more than likely saw Walter roaming the halls or at the very least heard him meowing for treats and attention. Our sweet orange boy made the tough days easier. He always brought a smile to our faces and offered support when we needed it. We often put our emotions aside as to be the best we can for our clients and their pets and we will continue to do this today. However, please offer our staff compassion. There is now a large hole in the BBAH family that can never be filled. We love you Walter. You will always be with us.

This year we have decided to start an annual pumpkin painting competition! We are letting you, the clients, choose your favorite pumpkins! The voting ends on Halloween morning. Like the photo or comment your vote! The staff is waiting for the outcome to see who wins bragging rights!🎃

Here are our amazing techs! Meet Robbyn, Lesley, Katelyn, and Shannon. These women go above and beyond for our patients! Pictured here each of them are holding up crucial things that are part of their jobs. Handling animals, radiology, phlebotomy, and anesthesiology. Each veterinary technician wears so many hats they’re never just a tech. They monitor patients under anesthesia, take x-rays, draw blood and place intravenous catheters, as well as handling and caring for patients. We could not be more grateful for our amazing tech team! Happy vet tech week!🐶🐱

We always see new and exciting things every day! Meet Bart, the opossum, he is being fostered by one of our technicians. He had a rough start to life but has been thriving! Did you know that opossums are the only marsupial that are native to North America? They also are so helpful in controlling the venomous snake population. They can withstand the venom from our venomous snakes. Every animal has its place ❤️
