Hellloooooooo! 🐾
It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted on here (life has been pretty crazy lately), so I wanted to give an update for all of my petsitting families.
After graduating from UF in May last year, I decided to stay in Gainesville and continue to work as a veterinary technician at UrgentVet. I have absolutely loved being a part of their team and expanding my knowledge and skill-set in the emergency medicine realm. One of my critical patients there ended up turning into a new family member. My newest child, Ember, was a parvovirus case and has fully recovered from the serious disease. She has been the perfect addition.
I also branched over to BluePearl Emergency Hospital mid-summer to gain more exposure to intricate cases in their ICU. All while working, I geared up to reapply to vet school. I’m so thrilled to announce that I was offered two interviews to incredible programs, including University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine! I’ll be hearing back in March about the outcome, but I’m hoping to stay here in Gainesville for another four years (fingers crossed!) I plan to continue offering petsitting services throughout vet school.
My small business has taken off, and it’s been a privilege to provide care to 50+ families in the area now. It’s also been humbling to hear that local dog training and boarding facilities are recommending me for in-home care.
I’m still accepting new clients, so please reach out to me via PM, text, or phone call! I look forward to providing individualized and compassionate care for your fur babies in the near future. ♥️
