1/26/25. Today we had a “feels right” adoption take place❤️🐾

🐾💖BEAST, now BENTLEY💖🐾

Today we had an approved adopter, Lisa, from Land O Lakes come to the rescue to hopefully find a sweet male Rottweiler. Sadly she just lost her male Rottweiler, Cooper, who was her trained ESA (Emotional Support Animal)😔. She’s hoping to find a young male who has lots of energy and love to share as she prepares him for training to become her latest trained support dog.

Joe had what he thought would be the perfect match for Lisa…..a 2 year old male Rottweiler named BEAST. Well the name surely doesn’t fit this happy go lucky guy. He was saved from a rescue and brought to FLRRR on July 21, 2024 by Joe. thank You Joe🐾❤️❤️🐾. He has been nothing but a sweetheart since arriving and today his prayers have been answered for a new lease on life!

As you can see by all the pictures Lisa and BEAST, now named BENTLEY hit it off perfectly. He will be welcomed into Lisa’s home where he will have a fenced yard, take walks, swim, take car rides and trail walks……and most importantly begin his formal training to become Lisa’s new emotional support dog.

Today we received a large bag of our preferred food, Purina One Adult Chicken and Rice formula. We are unaware who sent the food, but we do want to say THANKS. The tracking number is shown should you want to track the package to insure it was your delivery and it has been received. Thanks again!

Today we received a 40 lb bag of our preferred food, Purina One Adult Chicken and Rice formula. We are not aware of who sent it but we certainly want to thank you for your generosity. Food is a necessity, that’s for sure….lots of hungry mouths to feed daily.
It was a Chewy delivery and you can track the number to verify that your donation was received (and appreciated)!

Dixie is getting her freedom ride to the Ranch after her owner surrendered her to Tampa Bay humane Society pregnant she had a litter of 12 but 8 passed from being born premature probably from stress
She is here now as of last night with her 4 surviving babies and is such a sweetheart now that she is relaxed and not stressed

My guess is tomorrow will be a s**t show no one knows if the power grid will be attacked on Inauguration Day but people are in stores buying up everything again! Being foolish because if power is out everything you just bought will go bad . People really need to think !!!!!!!

1/15/25. And one more January adoption!

Hershey is now DOZER

Just one week ago, ADOPTER Sheila came to the rescue, along with her husband, Lee to adopt a sweet dog. They ended up adopting a dog named Polo, now known as TANK. You can scroll through our page and see the happy adoption that took place 1/9/25.

Well…….they contacted the rescue asking about adopting another furry friend. And Joe and Laura did not fail!! They were introduced to Hershey, now DOZER, a black and Tan pittie mix that was born at the rescue on 12/22/23. The mom was Daisy Mae, a full blown pregnant dog, who was surrendered to the rescue and gave birth to 10 pups! Great job Joe assisting with her delivery and the constant care of her puppies.

Congratulations and thanks to Sheila and Lee for returning to FLRRR to adopt yet another dog. Here’s hoping the two are getting along together and they are enjoying their new human family!

1/12/25. Another sweet Adoption!

❤️🐾🦴KNIGHT❤️🐾🦴

Today we had the pleasure of meeting approved adopter, Yolande, who made the drive from Tallahassee with a friend to hopefully adopt a young, still puppy-like Rottweiler that she could train.

Meet KNIGHT, a one year old that recently found his way to the rescue as an owner surrender. Our job is to keep them happy and safe until the right match comes along. It didn’t take too long for Yolande to realize that KNIGHT might be the right dog for her to adopt and begin the training process with him. Yolande does not currently have any pets, having lost her Bulldog/lab mix a few years back.

The adoption was finalized and KNIGHT will be heading back to Tallahassee to begin his new life with Yolande. He will have a fenced in yard and will enjoy walks. We thank Yolande and her friend for making the drive and adopting one of our sweet young boys!

1/9/25. Adoption day for another lucky dog!

❤️❤️🐾POLO, now TANK❤️❤️🐾

Today we had approved adopters, Sheila and Lee from Crystal River come to the rescue to possibly adopt one of our young male Rottweilers. They, sadly, just had to say goodbye to their 10 year old Rottweiler named Boss. What a great name for a Rottie!!

This couple was introduced to one of our recent arrivals, POLO, a one year old owner surrendered Rottweiler. As you will see from the photos, Polo, now TANK really took a liking to both Sheila and Lee. He was super excited and shared his affection with them, slobbery kisses and all!

They are no strangers to pets as they have had their fair share. They currently have a 10 year old senior English Bulldog named Cookie. And……TANK will soon find his new home will have other furry friends, horses, donkeys, chickens……. TANK will be able to take walks on the property grounds and it won’t be long before he knows he found the best possible family that so kindly adopted him. Thank you Sheila and Lee!

1/4/25. Catching up on adoptions so far this month.
❤️❤️ROCCO❤️❤️

Today we had Naomi, an approved adopter, come to the rescue to hopefully adopt a sweet male Rottweiler. Naomi has had numerous Rotties in the past so she’s aware of their behavior and temperament. Naomi, along with her best friend, Kenny, came from nearby Hampton, a mere 30 minute drive from the rescue! She’s driven past the rescue several times…………Unfortunately she just recently had to say goodbye to her 10 year old Rottweiler,
Rockie😢

As you can see by the pictures, ROCCO is a very healthy big boy who is approximately 13 months and was a stray that was brought to the rescue for adoption.

Naomi was pretty pleased interacting with Rocco and both she and her friend believed that ROCCO would be the right dog for her. She was looking for a younger one that will eventually be able to interact with her grandkids. He has a fenced in yard and will enjoy walks.

So, on this chilly Saturday morning, ROCCO was able to finally be with a loving family and enjoy the life he is entitled to. Thank you Naomi for coming to the rescue and adopting sweet boy ROCCO.
