Funday Monday!!!
This weekend was the start of one of the biggest veterinary conferences in Florida for the year. VMX is a conference held in Orlando once a year for Veterinarians, veterinary technicians/assistants, receptionists, hospital managers and so many more. We sent your technicians/assistants down to get their learn on while Dr. Abbott, Sadie and Liz stayed back and are doing some virtual learning.
We checked in with Kendall, Cheyenne and Gaby to see what they have learned so far. One fun fact they shared is that musculoskeletal pain can actually result in our dogs and cats being more reactive to outside stimuli like loud noises. They also shared that dental disease is caused by so many more factors than just not brushing, can you believe that a poor dog had a pistachio shell stuck over a tooth for months, resulting in severe bone infection and loss of several teeth!
We cannot wait for them to get back and share all the fun things they have learned while there! We will be sure to update you with more interesting facts!
