This service will offer the convenience of having the veterinarian come to the patient for routine vaccinations, diagnostics, and evaluating minor health concerns for dogs, cats, and horses. The LAH staff wishes you could all know Jax. He and his family came for a second opinion on a leg wound that wouldn't heal. After much treatment, therapy, and medication, the wound near the joint still wouldn't heal. Jax remained patient and sweet throughout, despite the grueling process that kept him from exercising for months. It was determined that amputation was the best course of action for Jax to live a full life. He's a border collie, after all! Jax has come out the other side with renewed vigor and recently completed obedience training and earned his Canine Good Citizen certification. He's even going to be a therapy dog! We're so proud of Jax and his family, who never gave up on their courageous rescue dog.

This beautiful baby is looking for her fur-ever home. Tilly is about 2 years old and most likely a great Pyrenees. She is calm, gentle and gets along with people and other dogs. This tiny ball of fur was rescued by a good samaritan and brought to us for care and nourishment. Despite her initial fear and discomfort, she has flourished under our wing, with only minor medication needed for her runny eyes. Her sweet and playful nature has emerged as she has grown, and she has seamlessly interacted with both feline and canine companions. As she approaches 6-7 weeks of age, it's time to find her a loving home where she can continue to blossom - a true celebration of National Kitten Day!
