Duckling has her blankie, but she doesn’t have YOU!

This sweet girl is one of the wonderful pets available at our Summer Lovin’ Adoptathon, and guess what? Because you’re special, you don’t have to wait until August 10! You can adopt Duckling now with your adoption fee waived by using code SUMMERLOVIN!

(The code works for all our available dogs and cats, but Duckling had to be our poster dog because, well… obvious reasons. ❤️)

In partnership with UF VCOP, we wanted to share these beautiful dogs who are in *urgent* need of fosters and adopters! All of them have been vaccinated, spayed/neutered and heartworm tested. See the post for more details on each one! They are located at Bradford County Animal Services at 16946 SW 75th Ave Starke, FL 32091. Please help spread the word on these urgent dogs! 💖🐾

UF Class of 2024 Neuter Wetlab! Thank you so much to Operation Catnip and all the SCASV officers that made this day possible!! We are so happy to have had this learning opportunity and at the same time help the community by spaying/neutering a total of 89 cats!! Great job to everyone involved in this fun and fulfilling day!!

This Saturday, Aug. 21, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., the Student Chapter of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians - UF Chapter will team up with Alachua County Animal Services for the annual Summer Lovin' Adopt-A-Thon at ACAS! The shelter is FULL and needs our help. Free adoptions for all cats and dogs in the shelter. Come save a life, take home a goodie bag, and spin the wheel to win special prizes! Dogs like Gabe and cats like Cuddles are just waiting for families like you to take them home!

Thank you to everyone who liked and shared our Emergency Adoptathon Event information! Big shout out to all of the wonderful volunteers for making the event special and putting in the hard work to find these deserving pups a forever home! We are so thankful that 16 dogs went to loving homes but Alachua County Animal Services still has nearly 90 adoptable pups, so if you want to adopt a new best friend, please visit the shelter!
