As an organization with multiple team members who have served in the armed forces, we have always believed in providing as much support as we can to the military veterans in our community - whether they stand on two legs or four. As soon as we heard about the brand new Newberry Veterans Memorial being built in Lois Forte Park, we couldn’t help but want to get involved! Recently Newberry Animal Hospital - Main Street, their downtown location, started a Compassionate Care Fund to help animal owners pay for necessary procedures. Not only did they support us with an emergency surgery, but they also went ahead to organize a large pet food drive! This amazing drive collected over 500 lbs of cat and dog food! Newberry Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond to support the furry loved ones of our neighbors experiencing homelessness! Thank you!

We got to drop off all the pet food collected during our June Pet Food Drive for GRACE Marketplace, and it’s safe to say we are BLOWN AWAY by the impact our clients and staff were able to make with their donations! 🐾

With the amount of food donated today, GRACE will be able to feed 20 dogs and 41 cats* for a whole month! We want to thank you as our clients and community for supporting this mission and helping us bring food security to the homeless pets that are in need of it. We already can’t wait to do it again next year!
