Whisker Wonderland Adoption Drive is just two days away! Join us THIS Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th between 10:30 and 5:30 for two full days of WAIVED adoption fees! Santa Paws will be joining us for adoption pictures on Friday, the Grinch will be joining us on Saturday! 🐶🐱

Help us fill Santa Paws' sleigh! 🎅🏻🎁 For the month of December, we are running a pet supply donation drive to restock our foster inventory and enrichment supplies as we prepare for the new year! We welcome donations Tuesday - Saturday, 10:30am - 5:30pm at our facility (3400 NE 53rd Ave) or via our Amazon Wishlist (link below).

Currently, our most needed items include:
❄ Blankets
🍖Dog treats
🥜Peanut butter
🍼 Bottles/Miracle Ni***es and Kitten Formula
🔥Heating pads/discs
🐱Pate-style wet food for kittens (any brand)
🐾Adopt-me Gear

But we can make use of ANY pet supplies, cleaning products, towels/blankets/sheets, new or used, any brand. All donated items go directly towards the shelter animals, and any donation, big or small, makes a tremendous difference and is so appreciated!

You can give the gift of a loving home this holiday season. 🎁❤ Join us during our third annual Whisker Wonderland Adoption Drive this Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th for two full days of WAIVED adoption fees! The dogs and puppies in this album are available for adoption at Alachua County Animal Resources, located at 3400 NE 53rd Ave in Gainesville. All black and black/white dogs have WAIVED adoption fees the month of November! We are open for adoptions Tuesday through Saturday between 10:30am and 5:30pm. Walk-ins to view adoptable pets always welcome! If you are missing a dog and believe one of these dogs is your pet, please email us at [email protected] or call us at (352) 264-6870!

We have emptied our donation bin not once, not twice....but more than 20 TIMES over the last week ALONE! We asked for blankets, and many of you have delivered them in droves along with other pet supplies. We are completely blown away and forever grateful for your support! 🥰❤️

We always need pet supplies, especially this time of year while we restock and get ready for the year ahead, so we are running a donation drive the month of December. In addition to blankets, our most needed items include:

🐾 Heating pads
🐾 Heating discs
🐾 Dog treats
🐾 Catnip
🐾 Miracle Ni***es and bottles
🐾 Kitten formula
🐾 Medium collars (Martingale-style preferred)
🐾 Adopt-Me Gear

Donations can be dropped off Tuesday - Saturday, 10:30am - 5:30pm in our lobby (3400 NE 53rd Ave) or sent via Amazon. We do have a wishlist (link below), but we can accept any brand, new or used supplies.

We asked our staff to select a shelter pet they are thankful for (we made them pick just one), and the results are magical 🥰 We have so much to be thankful for, including the animals pictured below, our staff, volunteers, fosters, adopters, and supporters. The animals are also feeling thankful with the countless donations being sent in and their special turkey dinner, provided by the Gilberts!

We cannot thank everyone enough for the blankets, towels, sheets, and pet supply donations! We are already putting blankies to good use to keep babies like Princess Sparkles warm and cozy 🥹❤️

We will be closed tomorrow and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday, but we reopen on Saturday and can ALWAYS use donated items. Every item donated goes straight to our shelter animals!
