This is a long one :)

Some of you may remember a few months ago when we lost our beloved long time guests Charlie and Sully.
At that difficult time (we also lost our beautiful boy Baer), we received letters for both Charlie and Sully from their mom and dad. These letters were so sweet and heartfelt. They stated that each pup had a Will and wanted to donate to their favorite place. And with Charlie not to be out done by her brother, she had an escalation “claws” in her Will 😆.
We were shocked and incredibly moved by the sweet and very generous gesture.

This allowed us to share extra $ with our wonderful staff who were also grieving hard over the loss. We also built a beautiful memorial for all the dogs we’ve loved and lost over the years, and the remaining funds were put towards paving our bumpy and dusty driveway that some of our clients were understandably getting a little fed up with ;)

You can check out the memorial bridge at drop-off and pick-up just inside the first gates. Matt, the kids and I are blessed to be able to look out our kitchen window each morning and see the bridge that holds the names of the dozens of dogs that have touched our lives.

Thank you Jeannie and Rob for giving Charlie and Sully the lives that doggy dreams are made of and for also loving us and providing us with the opportunities to do the above mentioned.

Jeanne and Rob have since found it in their hearts during their mourning process to provide another pup in need with with what is shaping up to be a beautiful life for her. We welcome Gracie to Dog’s Day!

Not cool buddy…not cool 😒 Well it’s sort of cool 😎 We recently added these gates around our doorways as added security for dogs that are still learning to master our “gate control” (to prevent dogs from slipping through doorways into areas they aren’t supposed to be in).
