My free time is usually spent with my own pets; a horse and two golden retrievers. I enjoy working with all walks of life, but have a particular passion for horses, small ruminants and camelids, as well as small animal medicine and surgery.

Please make sure your outside dogs have fresh water (make sure it cannot be tipped over) and access to shade- a dog house is will nut keep them cool! This is a very dangerous time for your outside pets! Please bring them in if at all possible- otherwise be be aware of heat distress.

Dr. Jen and Dr. Molly got the chance to collaborate with Berning Acres for Farm Vet for a Day!
It was a fun filled day with physical exams (on goats, cows, sheep and pigs) ultra-sounding cows looking for pregnancies, collecting fecals to look for parasites and even trimming a foot on a cow! The kids also got the chance to practice some re**al palpation and feel the toes of a calf that should be born this week!

Dr. Jen and Dr. Molly had a great time sharing what it’s like to be a livestock veterinarian. Thank you Matt and Natalie and the whole Berning crew for hosting us!

SCHEDULING UPDATE‼️

Summer is in full swing and we have become very busy in our companion animal department which is great! We want to remind all of our clients that we are booking out about 2 weeks in advance for routine visits such as vaccines. If you are planning on boarding your pet, getting them groomed, or they are due for their annual vaccines, please make sure you are calling us in a timely manner to schedule those so we can be sure to get them done when needed. We cannot guarantee to get them in for routine vaccines if you are needing them ASAP for boarding or grooming. We appreciate your cooperation so we can better serve all of our wonderful clients. Thank you!
