Price Sheet:

Dog Walking Services:
$1 per minute with a minimum of 10 minutes for the first dog, $0.50 per minute per additional dog with a minimum of 10 minutes
-Example: if you have 2 dogs that you want walked for 20 minutes, it will be $20 for the first dog and $10 additional for the second dog.
*Please note, to ensure you have an accurate receipt of time spent walking your dog, I will send a text message with a time stamp at the beginning and end of each walk*

Pet Care Services:
-Drop in potty break service: $10 per visit for up to 2 pets, additional $5 per pet after
-Potty break and play service: $15 per visit for up to 2 pets, additional $5 per pet after
-Feeding service: $20 per visit for up to 2 pets, additional $5 per pet after.
** Please note that this service will include potty break and play services as well as feeding.
-Medication services: $5 minimum per pet in addition to any services above
**Please note price can increase depending on the pet’s attitude and difficulty

Good Morning everyone! We are revamping our Roots and Roam page now that we have moved!
When we moved from North Carolina to Kansas we were sad to say good bye to our homestead. We ended up moving into a city so homesteading was put on the back burner but I missed caring for the animals every day so I put on my thinking cap to figure out what I could do to bring back that joy I felt on our homestead.
I remembered that I used to pet sit and walk dogs as a side business when I worked in animal hospitals back in my early 20s. I used to love meeting other pets and helping their owners ensure the health and safety of their furbabies. So here I am, jumping back into my little side hustle that made me so happy! I am so excited to restart this business and to meet you all! I will be coming up with a price list soon and I will be sure to pin it to the top of this page so you can easily find it! Are you enjoying your weekend?? You better be because Lucy has her eye on you!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce y’all to Lucy! She is an Americauna Mix who came to us with her sister (her name is Ethel and you’ll meet her soon!) Lucy has no issue looking you up and down and judging you for that same messy bun you’ve been rocking for the last few days. She is the class clown who is always up to no good and she quite frankly never stops talking…so we get along like two peas in a pod. She’s a foodie at heart and will eat anything out of your hands. Once she is a bit more settled in we can expect creamy pinkish eggs from her and I’m so excited for them!

Everyone meet Lavender 💜
She is the animal that took our idea of a homestead and made it a reality. She is our Lavender Orpington hen who has brought so much joy and attitude to our lives. She’s far more than just another chicken, she is my little partner in crime and will follow me everywhere-sometimes even trying to go for car rides if I don’t close my door quick enough!

I cannot wait to add to our homestead and share each new addition with you all!
For now, give Lavender a double tap and I’ll give her a meal worm treat just from you!

Hey y’all! Welcome to our little corner of the internet where we hope to develop connections with each of you as we grow our homestead into a sustainable business!
Let me introduce our little family!

Morgan- I was born and raised in the area and I’ve worked around animals my whole adult life until I became a stay at home mom 🖤 Now I get to do both! My dream animal to have on the homestead one day would be a highland cow! 🐮

Chris- I was born in Kansas but moved to the area when the military sent me out this way. I met Morgan and the rest is history. My dream animal to add to the homestead would be a Flemish Giant Rabbit 🐇

We have one kiddo, Hayden, who is a big reason we wanted to have a homestead. He is the most amazing human who is on the spectrum but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He loves the outdoors so if he isn’t on his swing, he’s in a rocking chair on the front porch saying his favorite geometric shapes. He doesn’t really have a dream animal that we know of yet but we will keep you posted if that changes! 🌈
