Well, here we are folks. We are full beyond capacity. We can no longer help our community until we start getting adoptions. BUT….
We can still help by making courtesy posts.
There are two cats that also need help finding their forever homes.

Kitty Bios from their currentt owner that is looking to rehome Annie and Kevin.

Annie (aka Nan, Nanna)

3 year old female short hair torti, litter trained, gets along great with other cats / dogs and older kids. Spayed, all claws, up to date on shots - no health issues. Veterinary record available.

Nan is a typical torti - she loves attention on her own terms and is very independent… but at night you’ll find her cuddled up in bed with you, purring away. She is a great little mouser if one ever sneaks into your home and she loves treats. She’s petite and lean but has a hilarious jiggly underbelly that sways back and forth when she runs around. Looking for a beautiful little gal to add to your family? Nan is a perfect fit.

Kevin (aka KevKev)

11 year old long hair male, neutered and fully declawed. Litter trained, gets along with other cats / dogs after a short introduction period. Loves older kids who will pet him. Up to date on shots - no health issues. Veterinary record available.

Kevin is a large, lovable lug that wants nothing more than to sit on your lap or be held, petted and brushed. Going into his senior years he’s still as spry and capable as can be and loves to play with catnip toys and eat treats. He’s vocal and will greet you when you get home, letting you know he’s ready for some love and lounging together. Want a best friend to be lazy with? He’s your guy.

*I would, of course, love to see these two rehomed together - they’ve been with each other for almost 4 years, but as long as Kevin has a home where he gets attention (Annie could take or leave it) I would rest easy.

💗Dear Peek-a-Boo.🫣
Peek has been in foster care and in rescue for years. She needs a more hands on foster or adoptive home that can work with her to feel comfortable. This is going to be a hard one, folks.
Peek was bullied in rescue and a foster stepped up to get her out of the shelter. The current foster feels she needs to be in a home that can better help her. This girl has been bounced around for her entire life and needs to be in a home of her own. She’s 8/9 years old, very shy, will hide, but is open to being held and calmed down. Because of her history she will need to be the only cat in the home. Dogs can be okay as long as they give her space. Peek is litter box trained, spayed, snap negative, and up to date on vaccines.

🎉FOSTER SECURED🎉

🚩Calling for help for this kind boy.🚩

The person caring for him is calling him Happy.
Happy showed up this week in someone’s yard. They picked up an outdoor house from us but Hapoy could really use an indoor home. He is young. Between 10 months-2 years old.
We need a foster home or direct adoption for him. He will get fully vetted thru us before he goes to his home. He is so sweet and will swank your legs for attention.
Sadly we are full, with a 5 cat waiting list so the least we can do is provide this fella shelter, food, and post about him.

This special boy is still waiting for his forever.
Percy loves everyone he meets. The confidence this boy has is limitless and he strives to get along with everyone. Percy is really a one of a kind boy. Our big snow leopard.
He’s 2 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, snap negative, microchipped, and litter box trained.
This boy is very social. He thrives in a busy home with other animals and people, and needs to be in the center of a family.

🐻Our big man George is finally ready for his forever home!
The colony life was not meant for George. He was beat up pretty badly, and even lost a toe in a scuffle. A caring couple scooped him up and got him on the mend until we got him into foster care.
🫣George is a shy boy but loves head scritches and full body rubs. He isn’t afraid of noises and doesn’t even care about the vacuum. He still likes to retreat to his quiet space at times so a little hidey hut would be good for him. He gets a long very well with other cats. He does his best zoomies at night but don’t worry, he won’t disturb your sleep until it’s time for food in the morning. You’ll have the best kind of alarm clock. He is still figuring out what toys are all about but he is curious about them, and I bet he will find that one specific toy he absolutely loves and never lets it go. Will you help him find out what that toy could be?
George is a neutered 3 year old, up to date on vaccines, snap tested negative, litter box trained, and is a giant teddy bear of a cat.

🎵🌺Hey there Delilah🌺🎶

I don’t want to turn her introductory post to be a teaching one. But part of rescue should be spreading awareness. Delilah was a farm cat with a horrible case of ear mites. Instead of treating their cats with monthly preventative, she was left to fend for herself. She scratched her neck raw, infection set in, and then an abscess formed and ruptured.
She isn’t out of the woods yet. Her hair is falling out in patches, she isn’t eating much, and is receiving subQ fluids along with medications. All on top of a horrible upper and lower respiratory infection. She is kennel bound and gets run time in the mornings and evenings. She loves all the other kittens and wants to be with them so badly.

💐We have so many cats and kittens available for adoption, so for the month of February all kittens are $100 and cats are $50.
Adoption helps us continue to help the ones that need it most.

✨It’s a winter Miracle✨

It’s just what Miracle needs, a forever home!
Miracle was brought to us by a woman that has loved her since her birth. Sadly she is moving and cannot take all of her cats with her. She is in temporary foster care but is limited to a bathroom so we need to place her in her forever home or a foster home.
Miracle is a sweet and mellow 4 year old. She’s spayed, litter trained, and up to date on vaccines. She gets along well with other cats but has not been around dogs. That doesn’t mean she can’t be, but introductions should be slow.

These two got their freedom ride today. We are leaving the vet back to foster Amanda’s house for baths, topical parasite treatment, and to our intake room.
They are both looking for foster or forever homes!

She is a hefty 18 pounds, spayed, 4 years old, scared but isn’t reactive. She needs to lose weight and is looking for someone that can give her all the love she deserves. Today is her birthday and in the words of our vet “No cake, she is cake” 🥰🤣

🪐Nova🌙
She is a gorgeous and confident 3 year old. She will follow you around, waiting for you to sit down so she can lie on your lap. Her spay is scheduled for this Thursday and she will be available for adoption or foster home.

Bravo! We desperately need these services in our county to help control the stray cat population. Spay/neuter costs are hundreds of dollars for just one cat right now and vet costs are only going up. Please contact your county board.
