EGG SHARE DETAILS AND UPDATES!
Please read entire post!

Length of time: Bi-weekly (every other week) for 12 weeks total. Will run from April 13th to September 21th OR 28th.

Price: $72.00 total, $6 per dozen

Pickup: On the farm, in person whenever possible. Some weeks we may have a stand and cooler set up. Details on that are TBD. Sundays, time TBD (whatever works best for the majority of customers).

Due to the demand and our limited number of laying hens, we have a very specific number of shares we can sell. We were not expecting so many people to reach out! Due to these limitations, we will have to prioritize those who have already inquired. If you are interested but haven't reached out, please comment or message us and we will add you to the wait list!
If you are not able to buy from us, we will send you information for other farm fresh egg sellers in the area!

DISCLAIMER
The state of Illinois allows for egg sales without an egg license ONLY if they are sold directly on the farm, unwashed. Unwashed eggs can be kept on the counter at room temperature. Always wash fresh eggs before eating, and refrigerate any washed eggs that aren't being consumed immediately. Wash hands after handling fresh, unwashed eggs.

Easter is coming early! Our girls are back to laying. Send us a message if you need a dozen! Our price is the same as it was last year, $5 per dozen.

Happy New Year! I'm finally getting around to posting some photos taken by at the Seminary Street Night Market!
We'll be making a few changes to the farm next year in order for us to take a (little) step back and focus a bit on our personal goals and needs. We will still be farming, but no CSA this year, and fewer markets. If you were a CSA member in 2023 or 2024, and really loved it, reach out to us and we may be able to come up with a compromise!
Egg shares, on the other hand, will still be available (those chickens don't stop for anyone!). Check back soon for more details and a sign up form. We might even figure out how to do online application and join the 21st century!
You can also look forward to seeing our produce used at a few local restaurants, and possibly a certain local grocer.

We look forward to seeing you all again come spring!

Mini pumpkins and giant garlic are two new offerings we will have at tonight's Seminary St Night Market in Galesburg! This one time (for now) market runs from 5:00 to 8:00. We'll be right in front of Innkeepers Coffee, so stop by and pick up some early autumn treats!

Market is almost over and we still have heirloom and cherry tomatoes, plus tons of cucumbers! If you need any, reach out to us and we would be happy to meet you. Downtown Galesburg or the farm (south side of Galesburg) is preferred.

3 for $1 but, you know, if you try and haggle it will probably work.
We also have tomatoes, garlic, and some delicious fresh herbs!

Oh and we have eggs out our eyeballs too, but we can't sell them at the market, so send us a message and we can set an appointment to meet at the farm. We're not too far from downtown!

"Week off" means we actually get to donate produce to a great cause and continue to support our community! We love all of the support we've had at the farmers market, and can't wait to get back there next week. But we're also grateful we have the opportunity to supply food to organizations who need it.
