Desperate NEED of - our outside and colony cats are in desperate need of extra calories to survive the cold weather. We could use some kitten chow to help them survive this winter.

Cats are elusive, but we still need to watch what they eat, how they eat and how much they eat. Are they playing? Are they Sleeping all the time. (YES THIS IS HARD to recognize, they tend to sleep ALOT) - but is there a balance of PLAY AND EAT?
You would know if your dog wasn't eating and playing right??? SAME WITH CATS.

WITHOUT TREATMENT THIS IS A DEATH SENTENCE - GUARANTEED

but - WITH PROPER TREATMENT THERE IS HOPE! do not wait to get treatment. DO NOT WAIT DAYS! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY ILLNESS. ASAP

FYI - NOT ALL VETS know what they are looking at when they are staring in the face of an FIP CAT. TOO MANY misdiagnoses have killed so many cats.

This disease is an evil bastard and does not play favorites. EDUCATE yourself as a Pet Parent! - Even though we deal with this every day - we are not perfect, and we have missed it. IT CAUSES GREAT EMOTIONAL PAIN even to us.

Black cats are beautiful & generally get along with other cats more easily than other colors. Obviously, these characteristics are unknown by the general public who refuse to adopt them. 💔😿

Galesburg Petsmart National adoption week

Please join us at Petsmart this week for National Adoption Week

We want to thank everyone that came out to our Meow meow Taco day at Shady Hill that supported and donated. Every dollar helps us to help those animals that are neglected and in need!! Still serving btw.

💯We are very serious about spaying and neutering ALL Animals. 💥If you do not it will get out of control in a very short time. 14 little babies from 1 house! 3 litters, from 3 mammas. They mammas could not be caught as they are somewhat feral in the house. ALL these babies were COVERED IN HUGE FLEAS! They were all severally anemic. But they all received baths and treated with meds. This took us over 6 HOURS. We also sat and PICKED all fleas off the babies. Sadly 3 babies died. We need help with their care. Food, medicine and vet bills and MORE FOSTERS …that they will need as we nurse them back to life. If these babies make it & and when they are ready they will be at Petsmart for adoption when they are of age.

Abandoned babies found under a trailer. (Country elms) The original count was only 2, but 3 days later the orange boy was found. A miracle that he was still alive.

Asking for help - We currently have 3 pregnant mama cats. 3 to pregnant cats to pick up, and 12 baby kitties and 3 mommy cats. IN NEED of KITTEN CHOW, CAT CHOW, CAT LITTER, PUPPY PEE PADS, KITTEN FORMULA, BLANKETS (KITTENS ARE MESSY) https://www.chewy.com/g/catnaroundrescue_b120036214#wish-list We also have more and more injured kitty vet bills. This poor guy Eris was tortured by someone over on East 5th st area. We are trying to find out who!🤬 His foot is so badly damaged it is on its 3rd month and we are still not seeing any progress. (after 2 surgeries and multiple vet visits) We would really like to SAVE his leg. THIS GUY, WE HUMANS DO NOT DESERVE ANIMALS. Even after all that has happened to him HE JUST WANTS LOVE AND CUDDLES! HE IS A PURR MONSTER! This is the 2nd TORTURED cat that we have taken in from that area. The first baby was so badly tortured and hurt, we sadly could not do anything for him. It broke our hearts that we could not save him! 😭😢 SOMEONE IS TORTURING ANIMALS!!! KEEP EYES OPEN. We also have a little baby kitty that got caught in a recliner chair!! His hip ligament is torn and his back leg is limp. We are hoping that after medicine and the swelling goes down that there is no permanent damage as he will not use it right now. Please pray for him!

Escaping is on their minds!
