With a combined 20 years of experience involved, we have matched abandoned and stray street cats with loving families and provided a permanent home for cats that have not been adopted due to age, medical conditions or socialization issues.

He is the Biggest Baby, he even lets you hold him like a baby. He surpasses the DANGLE TEST, 1st place! He will crawl into your lap for all the hugs and snuggles! HE IS A FREAKING LOVER!!!

He is a teenager (1yr old) fixed and up to date on his shots/vaccines.

He doesn't do well with authority figure MALE CATS! He wants to be the ALPHA MALE. So he can do well with a female or 2. or just plain by HIMSELF. He will provide someone with LOADS OF LOVE!

Got a message about 2 kittens under a womans car in Hyvee main parking lot. She was able to catch one with a helper, but the other one ran away… she knew the general direction but that was it.
I walked around and meowed for it. YES meowed, trying to see where it went.
Then we heard a faint cry under a car about 30 ft away! I got some food, blanket and trap but it did not want to come out.
I turned on some “kitten cries” video and that seem to motivate it to move and move. But it was so small and quick I could not grab it.
Finally after 2 hours the lady that owned the car needed and demanded she had to go. She gave me a final 2 minutes and that’s alll you get.

By some miracle I saw it under the engine (yes I’m under the car) and I was able to grab its hind legs and I did NOT let go. Yes it cried and screamed and even bit me, but I was not going to let it die in that car.

Abandoned babies found under a trailer. (Country elms) The original count was only 2, but 3 days later the orange boy was found. A miracle that he was still alive.

We have All the goodies and sweets!! And wine from Hidden Hills

Asking for help - We currently have 3 pregnant mama cats. 3 to pregnant cats to pick up, and 12 baby kitties and 3 mommy cats. IN NEED of KITTEN CHOW, CAT CHOW, CAT LITTER, PUPPY PEE PADS, KITTEN FORMULA, BLANKETS (KITTENS ARE MESSY) https://www.chewy.com/g/catnaroundrescue_b120036214#wish-list We also have more and more injured kitty vet bills. This poor guy Eris was tortured by someone over on East 5th st area. We are trying to find out who!🤬 His foot is so badly damaged it is on its 3rd month and we are still not seeing any progress. (after 2 surgeries and multiple vet visits) We would really like to SAVE his leg. THIS GUY, WE HUMANS DO NOT DESERVE ANIMALS. Even after all that has happened to him HE JUST WANTS LOVE AND CUDDLES! HE IS A PURR MONSTER! This is the 2nd TORTURED cat that we have taken in from that area. The first baby was so badly tortured and hurt, we sadly could not do anything for him. It broke our hearts that we could not save him! 😭😢 SOMEONE IS TORTURING ANIMALS!!! KEEP EYES OPEN. We also have a little baby kitty that got caught in a recliner chair!! His hip ligament is torn and his back leg is limp. We are hoping that after medicine and the swelling goes down that there is no permanent damage as he will not use it right now. Please pray for him!

Kitten season IS REAL! We have picked up another litter. These 3 sweet babies and lovable mommy will be available soon.

Vader surgery is today!! This poor guy and his leg! With the help of Knoxville Veterinary Service this baby will no longer be in pain and might be able to learn to walk better! Pregnant Candy

In a few weeks this lil lady will have her LAST litter of kittens. Until then she has a private suite with Hughe and lots of love and cuddles. She was dumped in the countryside in Gilson, someone didn’t want to fix her or take care of the kittens.

I love to play, I love to catch balls and fetch…but I haven’t been able to do that in a while. You see, I was hit by a car. It was a hit-and-run and my dad was very upset and rushed me to the vet. They told my dad I need to have my leg removed and that it was going to cost him $900. I know my dad loves me but man, that’s a lot! The nice vet people wrapped me up and gave me some meds for now until we can find a way to pay. We’ve been talking to all our friends about it and finally some nice people at Cat N Around Rescue reached out and asked my dad if they could do a fundraiser for me! I just couldn’t believe it!! I of all doggies know times are tough and it’s a dog eat dog world out there but I would be forever grateful if I could run again and catch that ball.
