Heather's Fabulous Annual Family Photos with ShyVel will be at Lincoln Park by the Pavilion (by the bathrooms & playground) this year on:
Wednesday, September 11th from 5-6:30pm AND
Saturday, September 14th from 9:30-11am
Prices are:
$20 sitting fee per appointment
($10 of this going to Pet Pack Rescue Initiative)

Do you need someone to check in on your dog due to a long workday? Or do you need someone to take your young pup out to socialize them? Or do you want someone to come and go while you are on vacation (so you do not have to do boarding)? Dogs are much more comfortable in their own homes. I do not board dogs in my home or elsewhere. I do a free meet and greet before you leave on vacation.

Heather is a professional dog sitter who is certified in Pet CPR & First Aid through Pet Tech. She has over two decades of experience caring for other pets, and her own.
Potty/Play prices:
$30/30 minutes
$40/60 minutes
$60/60 minutes includes socialization in public & practicing what was taught in private training.
$145/overnight (9pm-7am)
Mileages charges per visit for those outside of Galesburg & Knoxville (.75 cents a mile roundtrip).

A client built me an agility jump (mine from another company were expensive but cheaply made). Then their dogs tested it for me and their mom sent me this cool video.

Bentley usually excels easily at the leave it command, so tonight I upped the ante with his favorite treat, freeze-dried herring. He struggled at first.

I wanted him to never battle fear & anxiety. So today I bought him his own. #LOL. He didn't hop right like normal but once on he didn't want to get off. About Heather, her education & experience.

About Me

My love of animals was evident at an early age. My devotion and concern for the safety and well-being of dogs was solidified, at age 7, when I helped bottle feed my 1stpuppy, who had been orphaned. I have always been drawn to puppies and dogs in need of care and understanding, and learned a great deal about fear and reactivity in dogs when I rescued a one from a pittie rescue who was repeatedly overlooked due to her issues. Experiencing, first hand, her growth through consistent, positive training and activities, propelled my interest in pursuing a career in professional dog training and other services.

My focus is on basic obedience and socialization to help you and your dog learn to communicate with each other and build a trusting, positive bond that will last a lifetime. I also offer training for owners of fearful and/or reactive dogs, as well as those exhibiting mild aggression issues.
