This is a very important job and I need someone dependable.
It is physical. A long with other parts of the job, you need to lift and bath animals.
This is not for people that just love animals! You get to see and love on adorable pets, but you also have to clean up after them.

If any of you are cleaning out your cupboards, we are in need of bath towels and beach towels only! We go through them fast. We don’t care if stained, or faded, they just can’t have holes. Thank you!
UPDATE…
We have not had emergency service for 4 years. When we went to only one doctor, it is impossible to work all day then be on call every night and weekend. We don’t like that any more then you do, but it is not new!!
We are telling you about a nurse that answered the phone while we were closed and told you the same information. She couldn’t care for your pet, she just guided you to the below ER clinics. I’m sorry for the confusion on that.
Due to staff shortage, as of August 1st, we will no longer have a nurse to answer the calls after hours.
Below are the names, address, hours and phone numbers to the same emergency hospital/clinic she would of given you.
I know this is hard to read. I also sent it out in email, if we have your email, and will have copies at the front desk.
Thank you.
We are heading back to open with our normal hours starting tomorrow at 8:00.
Thank you all for understanding we need time to refresh to be able to be there for you the rest of the time.
We look forward to seeing you!
Just a reminder this is our last full week before closing. If you need prescriptions or prescription food, please do it before closing.
Also, Dr John will not be here to sign the prescriptions for Chewy, PetMed or any other on line pharmacy. They WILL NOT be filled. Please send those before the closing dates, July 6-July 17.
It’s that time of year again!
We will be closed for our summer vacation, July 6-July 17.
Our boarding facility will be open, but for boarding only. Vaccines and stool samples need updated before you board. You can admit or pick up every day at 8:00 am and 6:00 pm
The kennel staff can not sell you anything or answer any of your questions. They don’t have access to the computers.
We will have a trained technician on call to answer questions ONLY! There is not a doctor available.
If you have an emergency we suggest COVE in Delaware or MedVet in Worthington. They are both available 24/7.
Our hope is to give you plenty of notice so it is not an inconvenience to any of you.
Thank you for your understanding.
Thank you all so much for the interest and applicants. We were so fortunate to have great, great applicants. If you weren’t hired, please know we will keep your resume on file for future openings. It only means someone had more experience at this time.
We have an immediate opening for a part time veterinary assistant. Do not respond on here or by phone. You don’t not need experience, we will train. The hours fly by, because it is an extremely busy job. Please drop off resume or send resume to [email protected]
Merry Christmas from all of us!
Does anyone recognize this young veterinarian?
Our practice is growing, and we are too!
We are looking to hire a part time Veterinary Assistant. If you are interested, please send or drop off a resume, or come fill out an application.
No phone calls or info on here!
Thank you everyone that came to the ice cream social. We had a great turn out. Hopefully we can do this for an annual event. Lots of delicious ice cream enjoyed!
Just a reminder!
Today is ice cream day! Please come and enjoy with us! This is for everyone! Beautiful day and yummy ice cream! You can’t ask for anything better!
Mark your calendars and come and join us!
Come have delicious Mark’s Homemade Ice Cream! If you have not had it, you are in for a treat!
We want to give a treat and thank everyone for their patience with us. It is not easy running as a one doctor practice, although we try to continue and see the same number as patients as when we had two doctors, we have to, at times, let some of you down.
This is also a treat for the employees. In a world where people do not want to work, and businesses are closing due to lack of staff, we have ours show up and work very hard everyday.
We are in this business because we love animals, it is very hard on us as well when we have disappointed or let you down.
Hope for good weather and come hungry for ice cream!
We are back up and running!
Phones and computers are working!
Thank you for your patience!
We are having phone issues with the power outage! We are trying to get things corrected. Thank you.
These are bladder stones. Comparison is a large paper clip. These came out of a 7 pound dog. There was not much room left in the bladder. This is why after a script of antibiotics and your pet still has symptoms, we want to see your pet and do further testing. Surgery is the only cure for this.
Thank you to everyone for your patience while we were closed. There were some things we hopefully will learn from for next time. This is our first experience of closing this long.
With only one doctor. We are all learning together.
I would like to clarify the post from earlier. I was not being angry or short. I am irritated that people with non-emergencies are taking time away from the real thing.
A call at 2:00 am needing a nail trim, is not an emergency. That is just one example.
I realize not everyone has FB, but we only can contact people certain ways. There is also a sign up and has been up for nearly a month.
I apologize if I insulted anyone, I just want your furbabies to get the care they need and we want to give.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
We are receiving a lot of calls about appointments that we clearly said no one is there for.
If you have an EMERGENCY, call and leave a SHORT description. IF NOT an emergency, or no short message, you WILL NOT receive a call.
This is important. We receive over 50 calls for nothing! If you want a call, please do it correctly so you get a call!

This is Charlie our boarder who was talking up a storm until I got out the camera. As I write this I can here him talking like crazy, just like a kid, when you want them to. He wants to sing old Mc Donald, and he does ALL the animals, he asks us constantly what we are doing, every time we go through the door, he either says morning or hi. He brings a smile to your face. I wish I could have shown you more.
