A very tired woman walks in with a sigh and leads them to their barn...whiskey in hand Little Brother-stallion turned babysitter gelding and his donkey sister-Ella have a little fan base so I figured I'd revamp the page and showcase the adventures of these two crazy equines. Well it wasn't what we were hoping for as my ankle got hurt a week before Nationals and I'm in a boot and the halter broke right before our class but we did place 5th under one judge despite a not so good trot off.

We even tried the riding classes. Not successfully but he went in by himself and got nervous of the stuff out there but it's good exposure and he's literally had maybe 10 rides on him. But when in Rome...

Had a good ride(Eric) in the warm up pen today even though he was a little difficult at the beginning.

Success is not measured in ribbons but in growth and I'm proud of my boy.

Exactly 1 week till we leave for Nationals. Excuse me as the anxiety kicks in. 🫠

Aladar grew up and aged up and we are up against some niiice geldings and donkeys in general.

Last year was a life highlight so even if we placed deadlast/not at all I'm still so thrilled with him and excited to see and cheer everyone on.

My only goal when we go into the ring is a nice trot off and no dq lol.

I also may have signed up for two riding classes(TL barrels and poles because ring exposure and just us in the ring so if he does shenanigans he's not messing anyone else up) and I'm regretting it now 🤣 Might just count it as a donation to the association.

Can't wait to see all my long ear folks!!!
