Don’t get caught like miss Wiley did! This poor girl let a skunk get the best of her and she sure made a lasting impression on the salon today 😂 This is your reminder that we are officially in skunk mating season so they will be EXTRA active from now until around the end of March.
Do yourself (and your groomer 😂) a big favor and be sure to keep a close eye on all pups when they’re out to potty!

Skunks are most active at night but can sneak up on you any time! 🦨

As we sled in to the Christmas and New Year craziness I want to take a moment to remind everyone that I will be taking a well deserved and needed hiatus from home grooming until March 2025!
I have been working 6 days a week between home grooming and the clinic for months and I as I wrap up the holiday season a little break will be needed and welcome!
I will resume scheduling home grooming around March first!

Going in to the new year I will also be implementing new guidelines and policies in regards to my home salon for the wellbeing of myself and your pets!

First and foremost I will be implementing a yearly increase to all grooms.

Dogs 5-25lbs will now start at $65
Dogs 26-40lbs will start at $75
Dogs 41-50lbs will start at $85
And dogs 51+lbs will start at $110

Secondly, I will be strictly enforcing late drop offs and pickups. My home salon is ONE ON ONE and runs on a very strict schedule. I book lightly and specifically to cater to your pet and your pet alone.
Going forward if you are more that 15 minutes later than scheduled your appointment will be canceled for the day and rescheduled at my convenience.

As for pickups, many people seem to forget that this is, in fact, my *home*. I am very fortunate to have the space and accommodations to run a small grooming area that is calm and comfortable for one on one grooming but it is still my home and I can only accommodate one appointment at a time. You are expected to pick up your pet(s) within the hour that you are informed they are ready UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE. Late pickups will now be on a 3 strike system AS WELL AS being charged a $1 per minute late fee.
After 3 late pickups I will no longer be able to accommodate you in my home and will refer you to book with me either at the clinic or to another groomer more suited to your schedule.

PAYMENT is now required at time of pickup if not before. I accept many forms of payment and will be able to accept cards in 2025.

And finally, for my personal wellbeing, I will no longer be responding to business related inquiries Friday through Sunday unless it is related to rescheduling or an emergency. I will only be answering appointment related messages Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 5pm. Any messages sent out of that time frame will be answered Monday morning at my convenience.

I, of course, am still available Monday-Thursday at the clinic and am always accepting new clients!
These new policies pertain strictly to my home salon!

I look forward to a relaxing and stress free year continuing to be able to do the work I love.
As always, I appreciate you trusting me with your pets and look forward to continue hanging with them for years to come!

This very VERY good boy Dash has made outstanding progress working his way up from formerly being sedated!
