If your pet has a Save This Life microchip please call the number listed or go to homeagain.com to get your pet enrolled for free. If you are unsure what microchip your pet has have them scanned at your vets office. Pets with Save This Life microchips cannot currently be traced back to their owners since the company abruptly shut down last week.

Please be aware that the below microchip company (Save This Life) closed their doors last week without warning and without supplying their microchip information to other companies to help recover lost pets. If your pet was microchipped by us in the last 12 years it is a HomeAgain chip and you do not need to do anything. If your pet was microchipped somewhere else and you are unsure of the microchip brand you should have their microchip scanned by a veterinary clinic or animal shelter to make certain your pet is still covered. Any pet that has a Save This Life microchip will need to register their pet with another company. If a pet with a Save This Life microchip is lost it will be very hard to track the pet back to their owners.

The holidays are rapidly approaching. We will be closed on 12/24, 12/25, closing at 4:00 PM on 12/31, and closed on 1/1. If your pet is on prescription medications or diets now is the time start checking to make sure you have everything you need to get through the holidays. Due to Christmas and New Years falling in the middle of the week there will be shipping delays until we get into 2025. So please let us know if you need anything sooner rather then later.

23 years ago nearly 3000 people died in a senseless act of violence. Let us never forget this attack on our freedom and honor the memories of those lost. Pictured below is Sirius, a K9 explosive detection dog that was also killed in the trade tower collapse. His handler Lt. David Lim was rescued from the rubble after being trapped for 6hrs. Sirius's remains were recovered in the winter of 2002 in the wreckage of the South Tower, he was ceremoniously removed from Ground Zero with a full honor guard, in a manner befitting a hard-working member of the PAPD.

It only takes a few minutes for your pet to overheat in a car when it is hot outside. Even with cracking your windows your car will still reach temperatures that could cause heat stroke. Please leave your pets at home in the shade or inside in the AC if you are going out and would have to leave them unattended in a car at any point this summer.

We have some very hot temperatures coming later in the week. Please try to walk your pets early in the morning or after sunset if you walk them on pavement. Pavement in direct sunlight during hot temperatures can quickly burn the pads on your pets' feet.
