We’re ONE WEEK away from our holiday open house!
Come join us at the farm to meet the ponies, enjoy snacks, and rejoice in holiday spirit.

We hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving yesterday and enjoyed your many beautiful traditions.
One tradition of ours is the last few years our equine manager has been making sweet potato “casserole” for the horses.
We hope you enjoyed your traditions more than Laramie enjoyed this one 🤪

BLANKETS FOR DONATION TO NON PROFIT EQUINE RESCUE!
Volunteer Equine Advocates specializes in law enforcement cases and gets called in to help with severe neglect and abuse cases.
We rescue, rehabilitate, and eventually aim to rehome each horse we bring in.
We are 100% funded by donations.

If you’re looking for a donation before the cold weather hits please consider getting one of these, for a minimum donation to the rescue!

Minimum donation:
Sheets & Stable blankets: $25
Turnout blankets: $50

Pick up is at our farm in Gallatin by appointment.

Happy adoption day, Chili Bean! 🌶️
Chili Bean was known around here affectionately as “Uncle Chili Bean” because he was the only gelding in with our mama’s and babies for a while, and when the mamas weaned the babies, Uncle Chili Bean took over 💕
Now it’s his turn to be spoiled and pampered in his forever home!

Wilda was a huge supporter of VEA’s mission from the day she first learned of us. The farm she and her husband, Bill Hudgins, own has been called our Farm #1 and was the first facilty we used for our rescued horses. Wilda was a very impressive, wonderfully sweet person. We will truly miss her! Please keep Bill in your thoughts and prayers.

Wilda Dodson was a very special southern lady! A major supporter of VEA’s mission from the day she learned of us. When she and her huband, Bill Hudgins saw a tv news segment about one of our cases she called to see how they could help. Their farm became our first facility for rescued horses. They decided the couldn’t part with a pair of mammoth jacks , so Edgar and Rice (the burroughs) have lived happily there watching hundreds of other equine come and go. Bill has been VEA’s president of the board of directors for several years. Please keep Bill in your thoughts and prayers for strength as he learns to navigate life without his cherished love, Wilda. She will be missed by many!

2 Year old spotted saddle horse filly.
She’s still learning to pick up her feet & trailer but she’s going to be so much fun once she’s ready to go!

Everyone say BYYYYEEEEE Reba!!
Reba is headed off to a foster board and train with Beca!
Reba has been with us for a while and she’s one that’s going to take some time and dedication and when you suddenly have an influx of 10, 15, 30 horses at a time, she just never gets the attention and consistency she needs. So a foster board and train is perfect.
Once Beca works some magic with her, she’ll be available!
But for now, let’s all just say THANK YOU BECA! 🦄
