UPDOG X 🥏 Mason, Michigan

What a fun week packed full of frisbee, dogs, and camping! The dogs were on fire and overall brought back many placements and 18 personal bests! 🤯 We played against 200+ teams and couldn't be more proud of some of the rounds we had. We also got to play some Freestyle Performance. (The reason Pico was a taco and Sushi was a sushi roll.) 🤩🤪

Position: Kennel Technician
Pay: $12-15 per hour (depending on experience)

🍗Feed and water dogs
🦿Leash walk dogs that have special needs/requests

Making our way to Ohio in a couple of weeks to Dawg Gone It's IDS event.

I'm hoping for giant jumps from Pico & Sushi! Sushi is still holding onto the furthest jumping APBT in IDS, and Pico has the ability to be the furthest BC by several feet. This will be her first dock away from home, so I really am not sure what to expect! 😈🤩

We survived the Midwest Canine Obstacle Run...3 times!

Sam & Pico won his age division!
Jodi & Zidane 2nd Place for our age division.

We then ran Sushi & Nova. Then, we switched back for Pico and Jodi & Zidane and Sam to run our 3rd lap to complete "The Beast"!

We had never ran this race before, so every obstacle was a new surprise. Jumping off a floating/teetering dock into a deep and cold pond was a moment of "wow, my dogs would really jump off a bridge if I did". 😂😇

It was a great day full of perfect dogs, friends, and toxic mud. 🐾

I'll be honest, having so many different photographers that I had to dig through thousands of pictures from Updif 2024 was overwhelming. I just now bought a few and am calling it good. 😅

Nova -our shy dog screamed at me to throw the frisbees. She was happiest she had ever been at a big event!

Sushi- our bust dog played at a national event. 6 fields running and almost broke his personal best in 4Way Play! I'll die happy now.

Zi- our heathen had the time of his life as always. Years ago I never thought he'd be able to handle 6 fields playing at once with frisbees and dogs flying everywhere.

Pico- the youngest of the crew. 9 months old and she played 4Way Play Pairs & Throw N Go Pairs for the first time. She landed herself 3rd place in 4Way Play with 43pts!

We will hopefully be playing in the Crossover Crown this weekend! 👑
