Meet the prettiest tripawd around - Pogo! Pogo is a 6 year old spayed female Miniature Poodle who weighs 13 lbs. After she was no longer wanted for breeding, this little mama was surrendered to All 4 Paws so she could find a better life. Resiliency is all we see when we look into Pogo’s eyes. Born at a breeding kennel, Pogo lost her leg as a baby. She was bred repeatedly despite having one less leg to support her growing belly. While Pogo lived most of her life in the home, she was still used for profit and relinquished to the barn for the past year. We are so grateful we can show this sweetheart the life she deserves as a spoiled pet! Pogo has been a dream in foster. She moved in seamlessly! Her foster home includes adults, another dog, and cats and she is pals with everyone. She’s even been great with kids she has met! Pogo has good manners, seems house trained, and is food motivated. A bad day does not exist when you are in her presence. Pogo is always happy and welcoming. She loves a good walk, then is happy to snuggle on the couch for a nap. She isn’t clingy, but she is snuggly and attentive. We have no doubt she’ll be a wonderful addition to the family willing to give her a chance. While she gets around without issue on three legs now, there is a chance she’ll develop orthopedic issues down the road, so her adoptive family will need to be prepared for that. Many dogs live very long and healthy lives on three legs! We think being a tripawd adds to her charm! We love Pogo and can’t wait to find her the family she deserves… could that be yours??

This friendly, energetic two year old brought sunshine on a cloudy day to the 6abc Action News yard. Ruffis was found as a stray by a family who couldn’t keep him and brought him to ACCT Philly. He loves kids, running, playing and giving kisses (I got plenty of them!) He’s already neutered and ready for the perfect forever family. 4-year-old Golden Retriever Daisy is so sweet and affectionate, gets along well with all humans and dogs, despite having a very tough life. Until now, she spent every moment in a kennel, bred for profit at a local puppy mill. Thankfully, she is now at Rylie's Rescue, getting used to regular dog activities, like walks and playing, and awaiting the perfect forever family. Sasha is a gorgeous domestic medium hair kitten. She arrived on 3/21/24 at only 8 weeks old and has been in a loving foster home ever since. Sasha's littermates are Griff and Scarlett. All 3 loved to be brushed and are very loving. If you're looking for a cute little cuddle bug look no further. Sasha is your girl, she is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. Facebook friends, we need your help! This is Toby and although he looks very happy in these photos he is really struggling here at the shelter. Toby is a 1 ½ year old Labrador/Basset Hound that was surrendered after the birth of a baby. Although the family stated that Toby was good with the existing children in the home, they didn’t want to keep him once the new baby was born. When Toby arrived here it was very clear that he hadn’t been socialized well with new people. He was timid and insecure and it took him quite some time to trust the staff. He now adores the staff, but he is still timid with new people which doesn’t make finding him a home easy because most people are put off by the way he acts in the kennel. Toby is reportedly housebroken, crate trained, and good with other dogs. He is a smart pooch that knows sit, stay, lay, and fetch. Toby has been here for over a month with no serious adoption interest. He needs an owner that will give him time to trust, time to decompress, and one that will be willing to work with him moving forward to help him overcome his trust issues. We know there must be somebody out there that is ready to help Toby become the best version of himself, could that be you?

We have never posted for urgent volunteers before. We have an URGENT need today (Wed May 1, 2024) after 3 PM and tomorrow after 3PM.

We need cages, shelves, dishes, etc moved ASAP.

Reese is a 10 week old male English Bulldog puppy who weighs 10.7 lbs. This spicy little nugget came to All 4 Paws looking for a new home after his person was not able to care for him after purchasing him on a whim. Dogs are a big commitment, especially breeds like bulldogs. We will be looking for a bulldog-experienced family to set him up for success, so he isn't failed again. Reese is a typical puppy! He loves to run and play, then crashes for a long snooze. Overall, he is a calm pup. Reese is still working on his manners, so he'll need a family willing to continue his training. He has gotten along with other dogs and cats and would do best in a family with older kids. We have no doubt Reese's waddle, wrinkles, and silliness will make many fall in love! Please help us find this pudgy little potato the forever home he so desperately deserves!
