The Arizona Fall Championship 2024 edition is in the books and we were so grateful that the Arizona record 100+ day heatwave decided to take a break the week we were in Scottsdale with temps staying well below 100 degrees. Congrats to our riders and horses for a great week of showing.
⭐️ Snack Chip owned and ridden by Joy Cardelli were stars in the trail pen with solid runs that included bring home the blue. Sarah also showed Chip in western riding and trail to top placings in both disciplines.
⭐️ The Darque Knight, owned and shown by Linda Patron, were consistently in the top 5 of their trail classes. Sarah and Ira brought home some cash from their western riding competition as well as top 10 trail placings.
⭐️ A Cherry On Top, owned by Tricia Avila and shown by Sarah, showed his talent by competing in trail and western riding. Look for Tricia and Casey to join forces in Select classes in the 2025 show season.
⭐️ Popular Mechanics, owned by Marisa Hash and ridden by Sarah, were solid top 10 placers in their trail classes.
⭐️ Too Smart To Dual, owned by Steph Anderson and shown by Sarah, were top 5 placers in their L1 ranch riding classes. Steph took over Wink’s reins and the duo were top 10 placers in the always large, amateur ranch riding classes.

⭐️ The Darque Knight and owner, Linda Patron, lit it up in their big city trail class with top 5 placings.

The weather was smoking hot and so was the competition at the Summer Gold N Grand All Breed Open Horse Show. Horse show mom extraordinaire, Liz Nunes, was celebrated on July 13th with 🎂birthday cheers. ⭐️ Buckles were won by Lily Thomas and Star Trek Tag, Mia Nunes and Lope A Certain Way, Isabella Nunes and Dunit Smart Shiner and Kathy Fritz’s Who Fired The Made (ridden by Sarah). ⭐️ Congratulations for blue ribbon rides by Marilyn Silva and Goodbye Kisses and Sue Wathen’s Have You Myst Me Yet (ridden by Sarah). Thank you to Liz Nunes and our other horse show mom extraordinaire, Kelley Thomas, for capturing the memories for us with great photos.

The The EMO Celebration in Las Vegas was once again a fantastic production. Thank you to the wonderful staff for all of their hard work.
⭐️ Linda Patron and The Darque Knight had a great show, placing 1,2,3,4 in their L1 Select Trail class. Sarah aboard Ira had some nice runs in their trail and western riding classes .
⭐️ Tricia Avila’s A Cherry On Top showed his versatility in both trail and western riding with Sarah, including a top five placing in a tough Open Green Trail class.
⭐️ Snack Chip, ridden by owner Joy Cardelli, had some valuable trips in their trail classes. Chip also had nice runs with Sarah in trail and western riding.
Next stop, Gold N Grand All Breed Open Horse Show later this week in Rancho Murieta, California. Safe travels to all.
