"I knew my precious boy was ready to go. I contacted Fair Winds just to get information. Camille explained to me the services that they provide. It all sounded wonderful, but I didn't have any money. She then told me about the Fair Winds Fund which is a charity to help people like me. She told me there were funds available to cover the euthanasia in my home, private cremation, and return of Jessie's ashes with an urn, along with an ink paw print. They arrived at my home, and my baby was lying in my lap. Dr Christie explained to me everything that was going on, and we proceeded when I was ready to make the next step. while this wasn't a happy occasion, it was a beautiful and peaceful experience.
