If you ever wanted to know what a bees tongue looks like in action here you go! Still pic in the comments! I was having so much fun watching her. 😛🐝 🖤💛
My husband catching a swarm. His Italian queen was older and had quit laying. They offed her and made a new queen last week...but there wasn’t any worked up frames for brood. (There’s 9 new wax foundation frames that they weren’t building comb on & very minimal laying space on one of the bottom frames) The new queen decided to peace out. Fortunately he was off today working on the barn and watched the swarm start & was able to recover them. We swapped around some frames from other hives and gave them a new box. He plans to requeen the hive they swarmed from with a notched Saskatraz frame to make them Saskatraz as well...leaving us with 2 Italian (1 hives & 1 nuc) & 3 Saskatraz hives.
Our Saskatraz girls have really found the pollen somewhere. Look at those pollen covered legs. They’ve even stained the box with it going in and out of the hive. 😳
Their momma went out to graze so we soaked up some baby snuggles! How sweet are these two? My dad has never spent time with them but they warmed up immediately! ❤️😍🐐
First time playing outside! 😍
This video really doesn’t do it justice but look at her pre-kidding udder! 😳
Oh the cuteness!!! Little guy had to check out the camera 💙💗🐐
These crazy girls! 💗 Lucy Lou (the black & white one) gets around pretty good for being due next month!
And the winner is......Christy Greene! I'll send you a PM Christy! 😊🐔🐣👏
I think it's safe to say they love their Christmas garland...
