"Stretch your arm out to the side, holding something like a pencil vertically in your hand. Look straight ahead. You won’t see the pencil in this position. You can’t even see your arm. Now move your arm slowly in a wide outstretched semi-circle toward the front, keeping your eyes focused on a distant point in front of you. The pencil remains invisible until it reaches almost a 45-degree angle. Human vision is limited to roughly 45 degrees on either side of our noses, for a total of about 90 degrees. By contrast, if we held a pencil straight out from the side of a horse’s head, it would be almost in the center of his vision. With eyes on the sides of his head, he catches a 340-degree view, almost four times greater than the range we see. Hint hint!

Wonder how we get Juliet so sparklingly clean that she won best turned out at the Sallie B. Wheeler? I swore I would never share this because once they know we are using a product on a horse they jack the price but here goes.
Get yourself the white container of goop (not orange). Apply liberally to DRY tail or legs or whatever you are whitening. After several minutes add some whitening shampoo and scrub or rub it all together with NO water and let sit a minute or two more. Now add a little water and lather it all together then rinse. If needed you can repeat on the now wet tail or legs but works better dry.
You can also buy some laundry bluing and mix a few drops into the goop but it does make an ungodly mess.
So there you go, enjoy your sparkling white horses!
