• GCCCP offers mass Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).

It has been estimated one cat and its offspring can be responsible for 420,000 cats in 10 years. 80% of new kittens born annually are born outdoors! We schedule large blocks of spay\neuter appointments and fill them. TNR will only work if mass TNR is accomplished.
• GCCCP finds and works with the caregivers of feral cat colonies by trapping the cats; obtaining and paying for spay or neutering; and

providing transportation, pre-surgery boarding and post-surgery recovery. By working with caregivers (approximately 55 now) you can schedule their cats into blocks of appointments. The caregivers know their cats, eating times, ages, pregnancies, etc. and usually like to learn to trap. Much of what I do is manage caregivers into a GCCCP work force.
• GCCCP distributes free cat food and supplies to any feral colony caregiver. This keeps them actively neutering their cats and more willing to allow new cats into the colony.
• GCCCP gives free spay or neutering for ANY cat in Garden City because any cat is a potential stray. Plus, if there are cats inside that are not neutered they probably were feral at some point since shelters neuter all their cats.
• Everything is Free.

We are teaming up with Broken Hearts Rescue and Sawtooth Veterinary Services-Animal Hospital to bring you a low cost vaccine and free microchip clinic!

While Supplies last bring your dog or cat down to the Twin Falls Animal Shelter on August 10th to update their vaccines and a microchip.

NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Right now they have 11 ringworm-positive kittens needing fostering! They can split them into smaller groups or pairs. They will provide PPE (personal protective equipment) and any other supplies you may need to feel more comfortable caring for them!
Take them from being 2 weeks and helpless to healthy adoptable kittens. All you need is a small, separate space and a big heart. What else are you doing with your days? ;)

Idaho Humane Society has the SPOT clinic that is open to EVERYONE for spay and neutering community cats. This includes, but not limited to, Canyon County, Boise County and Twin Falls.
But no one is taking advantage of this. why?

UPDATE: "Max" is now up for adoption. He was having a hard time among the street-smart, free-roamers. The foster said “Max is a love!!! He has been purring and looking for pets since I let him out of the carrier. He is exploring…already lives the scratching post. He is a real lap cat. Not too much interest in playing, but as soon as I sit down he is in my lap, making biscuits and then fast asleep. He seems a few years old. He appears in good shape. His coat is beautiful since I have been able to brush it and give him a few "wash cloth baths". Max is completely vetted. He's got his combo vaccine, rabies, leukemia and FIV test which was negative. He's treated for fleas, ticks, ear mites and worms. Attached pics and video.
