Who remembers Linus? This sweet boy scored when we spotted him outside the grocery store when we went to grab lunch during an adoption day event 🥹 what are the odds? So grateful that we were able to swoop this up before he lived a short life and a busy parking lot 💔

Foster needed!!!!

Eva (pics 1 and 2) is a sweet mama cat that was caught with her kittens, and while the kittens were accepted into the local shelter, the finders were told release Eva back outside in an area that is heavy hunted by coyotes. It's essentially a death sentence!!!
Eva is a little shy at first, but is quite friendly with her finders, but they are unable to give her the love, attention, and space she so desperately deserves!

Short Stack (pic 3) is a friendly 1-2 year old male. He was trapped as a part of a TNR program when it was discovered that he is a very sweet boy. The finders space is very limited, so we would love to help find this boy a more comfortable living space so that he doesn't need to be released back into the colony that he was found in!

Feline Good Friday 🥰😍

Guess who just scored their purrfect furever home?? That’s right - PINTO!!! This sweet boy had already been through so much in his short life ❤️‍🩹 he was injured when he was tossed away like trash and a Good Samaritan managed to get him to us. Even though we didn’t have the space for him, we made the space knowing that if we didn’t help him he would suffer for the rest of his short life 💔 one of our amazing fosters stepped up and all of you came together to help us raise the funds for his surgery!! And now, another miracle 🥹🙏 he found his furever people and he gets to live the life he’s ALWAYS deserved! 🥰❤️‍🩹

Thank you EVERYONE who made this moment possible for this very deserving boy. If you can take a moment to share this success, we would appreciate it!! 🥰

🥳💕 an adoption alert to celebrate 🥳💕

Just look who is officially ready for adoption! Vaca is looking nearly unrecognizable after being rescued 🥹 and we love that for him. Vaca was rescued after his previous owners abandoned him and he was left to fend for himself on the streets. He was lowest on the totem pole and got a horrible case of mange 💔 so severe he had a hard time seeing! Luckily for him and thanks to the support of so many of you, we rescued this sweet boy 🥺 Vaca has ALWAYS been just pure love! He clearly was someone’s pet and has desperately trying to find a way back to love, security, and affection 🥰 he has been getting medical care and a ton of TLC (as he should!) and he officially has a clean bill of health 🥳

So… without further ado … will you PLEASE help us find Vaca the best furever home? 🥹🙏 this sweet boy is about 2-3 years old, fixed, vetted, and VERY friendly. From his time fending for himself on the streets, he is a bit timid and defensive around other cats so he would need a very slow introduction or a home without other cats 💕🙏

Thank you to everyone who has been following this boy’s story 💕 this is just one more milestone to celebrate and we hope you’ll join us in helping Vaca find the home he wants and deserves!

Happy Tails Tuesday! 😻 just look at these happy ever after photos 🥺 Zeus (grey boy) is clearly on his way to being a most spoiled boy and we love that for him!

Shark (B&W) 🦈 finally found his purrfect furever family!! You probably recognize him because he’s been looking for his furever home especially after his best friend (his dad, Tuxedo Mask) got adopted 🥺 Shark was major daddy’s boy and super close with Tuxedo Mask and we’re THRILLED to report that he’s been adopted by the same family that Tuxedo Mask went to! 🥳

😭 we’re not crying, you are!! We’re so happy for this special boy, his dad, and their new family! 🥰 we love when people and families honor cats’ special connections and family bonds! 🙏💕

Story time 🥹 every Saturday we host our adoption event and this weekend was no different. Animalia is conveniently located next to Vons so we can run down there for lunch.

As it turns out, lunch breaks are not exempt from rescue work ☺️ just peep this baby spooky cat peeking out from behind these pumpkins! 🎃 a well timed lunch break turned out to be this baby’s lucky break! We were able to scoop him up and get him to safety (thankfully because it is a VERY busy parking lot with lots of cars). We’re full with cats and kittens needing homes, but we couldn’t leave this little boy there 🥺 his new name is Linus and he’s learning to trust humans! 🙏💕

He’ll need to vetted and fixed, so PLEASE donate if you can and no matter what, welcome him to the TFF family 🥰💕 we’re so glad he doesn’t have to live a short, neglected life on the streets!

Tonk’s Kittens

There is a long history of animal rescuing in this family; though we mainly foster cats and kittens, we even had a duckling stay overnight in our bathroom until we could guarantee a safe environment for the little one. When Kat fell in love with a husky puppy and decided that she absolutely had to have her, General Tonks Organa joined the family.

Tonks had her first foster kittens at approximately 6 months old. With lots of careful training and oversight, she has learned how to love and help care for the little ones that come through our home. One of her favorite things is to give them a bath; it is quite common that we have a soggy kitten come wobbling out of Tonks’ kennel. Because we have our goofy girl corralling kittens, the majority of those that are adopted out are used to being around dogs, and will often times seek out canine companionship in their new homes.

We are strong believers that if a cat or kitten can be rescued and socialized, a loving home and family can be found for it. We like to get to know our kitties as well as potential adopters to ensure that we can get the correct personality match, so that everyone can live out happy lives in harmony.
