From Ulster County SPCA:

WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR THESE DOGS!
These dogs were found abandoned and tied to the fence at the Ulster County Dog Park in New Paltz today. One dog is a tan, spayed 32 pound female, possibly Sharpei mix, extremely timid and fearful. The other dog is a black and white, unneutered male, possible Cane Corso or pitbull mix. Both dogs were left with harnesses and leashes on, and the male left with injuries consistent with a dog bite on his back, likely from a third dog.
Thanks to Animal Emergency Clinic in Kingston for quickly providing emergency medical care for both dogs who required sedated sutures for their injuries. Safe now at the Ulster County SPCA.
If you saw any activity or vehicles at the dog park this morning, please report any information on these two dogs or their owner to our Humane Law Supervisor at 845-331-5377 x212.
*As always, we understand our community's passion for animal welfare, but will delete any derogatory or threatening comments toward owners or others. Please respect our policy regarding social media posts.
