Featured this week are the Plaisteds' from the beautiful town of Sterling Massachusetts. Pictured below is Robbie and Ellie both are Border Collies and are adorable yet very intelligent.

Fun facts:
👁‍🗨They're the smartest dog breed in the world!
👁‍🗨They were bred to be herders.
👁‍🗨Collies came from Scotland.
👁‍🗨Organizations were made for them.
👁‍🗨They're record holders and so much more.

Both pups did very well with the system and training as you can imagine. I want to personally thank the Plaisted's for entrusting us with these wonderful pups. Welcome to the Dog Guard Family!

Featured this week is Aspen. He is just a puppy at 3 months old only about 35lbs but will be over 70+. Such a wonderful pup Aspen just loves to play and is very curious which is why Paramanamda from Chelmsford ma wanted to catch him early. We came in with a more then fair price installed and trained Aspen on the system in about 3hours. He did excellent!

Let's give a big warm welcome to Loofie the 6 month old mini Goldedoodle. Such a smart cookie he did very well just on tone training. You can see based on the photos that he is very comfortable wearing the micro collar. As his owner Jody from Wayland puts it.... "It's a Game Changer"! It's important to make sure your dog's receiver collar fits perfectly for their safety and comfort! Follow these steps for a proper fit:
1. Adjust the nylon collar to fit your dog's neck snugly.
2. Hold the buckled strap by the buckle so the receiver hangs vertically. The receiver should be under your dog's neck, directly opposite the buckle.
3. Ensure the probes on the inside of the collar touch your dog's neck.
4. For a consistent signal, position the probes closest to your dog's chin, allowing the receiver to hang at a slight angle.

You can clearly see our love for dogs and how we treat each and every job as if it were our own pups. Benji who is an 8 year old Brittany Spaniel is about 55lbs. We would like to thank Ed from Grafton Massachusetts for trusting us (in this case, Corey) with his fur baby! Benji did very well with the system and is now off leash enjoying his freedom. Featured this week is little Tillie the Lab/Coonhound Mix. She is about 5 years old and 60lbs. Her owner Alyssa from Sudbury Massachusetts just moved to the area and wanted to get Tillie on the system ASAP! As soon as she moved in we were there to Train Tillie and now she is off leash and knowing her new boundaries. Welcome to the Dog Guard Family Tillie and Alyssa.🧡

Lets give a WARM welcome to Ruby from Townsend Massachusetts. She is a beautiful 4 month old Great Pyrenees Mix and will eventually be close to 100lbs when fully grown.
Fun fact: The Great Pyrenees was bred to guard the flocks at night while the shepherds were sleeping and predators roamed about. Because of this, he is naturally nocturnal. People who keep Pyrs as pets shouldn't be surprised to find they often bark at night. This makes them a great deterrent for burglars. Ruby did very well with the training and is now off leash ready to chase down burglars in the middle of the night.. at least up to the perimeter of the property!! Welcome to the Dog Guard Family!

Featured this week is both Josh and his pup Spot. Spot is a mix breed and is just 4months old. In an area that is heavily wooded behind the house and quite a bit of foot traffic in the front Josh wanted to create a perimeter where Spot & Daisey (not pictured below) could safely run freely and within eye sight. We did this saving Josh thousands and thousands of dollar all while maintaining the natural New England beauty of his property. Welcome to the Dog Guard family.☑️

Featured this week is none other then Arthur the Golden Retriever from Dunstable Massachusetts. His mum Colleen was worried about Arthur getting into the road and hit by a car. She also did not want to spend thousands and thousands on traditional fencing nor did she want to take away from the current feel of her property.
