Very Special Girl 🖤🎄

One of my retired females is looking for the perfect home. She is truly a phenomenal dog…confident, steady, and rock solid in any situation. She has strong nerves, excellent obedience, and is an outstanding house dog.

She absolutely loves people, children, and infants, and is incredibly gentle and affectionate. This is the kind of dog you don’t come across often…reliable, and a joy to have in your home.

I am looking to place her only with people I know and trust to give her the loving home she deserves.

Playing and goofing around. Negative reinforcement for doing and not doing is being used intermittently. Why? To get her off the tools.
PS! Negative reinforcement is not used to shut the dog/puppy down. Negative reinforcement is used as a communicational tool. Notice in the video, It is not shutting down the puppy. Pressure announces reward is coming. That is so uplifting to a dog/puppy. One of many ways to create dopamine. Oh, the puppy is not quite 7 months yet.

Intrinsic activity from the puppy! We used shaping games to get this behavior. She found out very quickly how to better her situation. We started naming the behavior 3rd rep in using the word platz. 5th rep, she earned the jackpot, and she continued to stay on the target behavior with distractions.
PS! This is one of many ways we train. Not even a fraction!

Groundhog hole turns into a dog den. Lol I think it is time to close it up. The dogs go all the way in it and turn around. LOL One of my pregnant females got a little too big for the hole. I had to help her get out by pulling her back legs.

Worked 11 dogs, one breeding and everything else in between before noon. There is not enough time in a day! PS! Always strive to end training on a good note.

I got some request! People asked what does my Rock Creek crates look like. Here is a picture of some that are in my dog training skitter room. 3 stationary/ Fixed and 1collapsible. Working dogs in a small aquarium is very beneficial at times. That is key to a lot of dog training.
