On average, dogs live for 10-13 years, which is considered roughly equivalent to between 60-74 human years.

May as well give them the BEST 10-13 years !!! They live for their humans, you are their person, you make their days so much better.

Several of our team members have senior dogs in their hearts, homes and lives right now so we totally understand the care they need. We love them how they need to be loved, we play with them depending on their energy level and pay attention to their social batteries so we don't overdo it with them. We also give them a personal space for nap time.

HAPPY NATIONAL PET DAY.

National Pet Day is an excellent time to do a few checks for your pets.

Go through your furever family member's toys. Throw away any items that are no longer safe.
Maintain your pet-friendly home. Keep cords and toxins secure from your four-legged friends. This includes phone chargers.
Verify when vaccinations are due and schedule an appointment to update if they are due.
Check collars to ensure tags are secure and numbers are current. We sometimes forget to update this information when we move or change numbers.

HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONAL PET DAY
-> Take supplies to those pets in shelters.
-> -Help a friend with pets who is recovering from an illness.
-> Adopt a pet.
-> Give your pets extra love with a bath and rub down, special treat or some one on one time. (You are their reason and their person.)

Stop in and see why we've been voted "Best of Carson Valley." for 5 years in a row,

Our small guests and larger guests each have their own indoor and outdoor group play spaces and our playground team members are ALWAYS supervising the yard, as in actually IN the yard. Some dogs play a bit harder then others and not only do we get that, we make it work for everyone. (As a matter of fact, one of our team members owns 2 Great Danes and 1
little Chihuahua so understands the assignment.)

Some of these little furry friends just grab your heart. This girl is one of those. Easy to love, always there when you need her, ferocious underbite (a dentist would have a field day with this one) and a solid sidekick to one of our team members ❤️ What dog in your life is little but leaves a BIG impression ?
