The Reno KC All Breed Dog Shows start tomorrow! Reno Livestock Events Center, free admission, show is going all day for all breeds. I have a couple of my dogs entered along with several I’ve bred. Show times for English Cockers are as follows:

Beautifying this pretty little girl for her second show at Santa Barbara next week. She was shown once at Woofstock and needed a trim badly! But isn’t her head darling? Love the fill she has in her muzzle, beautiful soft dark eyes, square lip, and correct proportions. If nothing else, she is such a good little companion and is always up for anything! It was always a dream of mine to get a major award with my heart dog, and foundation bitch Merry. And 2024 was the year we finally did it! Award of Merit in an outstanding line up of Specials under Judge Meghen Riese-Bassel at the English Cocker Spaniel Club of America’s Regional Specialty the day before the National. She showed the best shes ever had, I could not have asked for a better performance, and it was a complete honor to be on the other end of her lead. This is one of the best days of my experience in dogs, a day I’ll truly treasure for the rest of my life! Thank you so much to her breeders Debbie Owczarzak and Betsy Krider Traub for the gift and legacy I get to carry on with through Merry ❤️

Meet “Ferris”, he is pictured at 10 weeks old and ready for his new family! He is microchipped, has his first round of puppy vaccines, has begun crate training, basic house and leash training, and is very well behaved for grooming time. He is as healthy and cuddly as they come!

The Carnival Litter had their puppy party yesterday and it was a blast!! I am convinced we need to get together more often outside of dog shows from now on 🥰 Thanks to all who attended! And we missed those who couldn’t come but hope you can next time. We had soo many English cockers in attendance (along with a few non ECS doggie friends), lots of fun cuddles, many adorable babies/toddlers/kids, yummy food, and the best of friends! The Carnival Litter (Alden/Pixie) is five weeks old!
This litter has been so fun to raise and it just keeps getting better! They got their first haircuts today along with some stacking lessons. So far I’m really liking why I’m seeing and can’t wait to hopefully share some nice stacked pictures next week. Look how beautiful their little faces are! 😍

Woofstock 2024 was a BLAST!! ✌️🎶🐶🎊❤️
Thanks to all my wonderful friends for making it such a memorable gathering! I am beyond proud of us and our dogs!
“Eden” (Bilbo/Posh), with owner by Aimee Ford, won BEST OF OPPOSITE at the ECSCNC Specialty under Breeder Judge Marjorie Martorella at just 1.5 years of age! She is getting better and better and so excited to see where this team goes!
“Maverick” (Djolica/Merry) won an AWARD OF MERIT at the Specialty! His showmanship is improving so I’m very proud of that .
“Pepper” (Bilbo/Posh), with owner Cara Roberts won BEST OF WINNERS for a 4 Point Major at the Specialty! I’m so happy Cara has joined us in dog shows again and thrilled she has a pretty girl to enjoy it with! She is well on her way to her Championship along with multiple other performance titles and talents!
“Parker” (bred by Valerie Schuetze/me which is a brother to Posh) also won a big major at the Secialty by going WINNERS DOG for his own 4 Point Major! Huge congratulations to his owner Lisa Holt Hamilton for doing it all on her own. She’s such a hard worker and it’s definitely paying off! He’s also an awesome therapy dog.
“Serena” (Thomas/Merry) won WINNERS BITCH on Friday to finish her Championship which is #16 for Bellamy! She showed to perfection which is bittersweet that she’s now done but thrilled to make a goal and complete it!
We also had “Calcifer” and “Charlie” from my Maverick/Serena show at six months old and they were total rockstars! I am so proud of them and excited for their future! Their owners Lindsey Pinson and Irena Shklovsky are doing an absolutely fantastic job raising them and have very bright futures.
“Alden” (Bilbo/Posh) owned by Erin Williams Glancy came for two of the days, shown by Kathleen Schultz Icmg Ncmg and looked absolutely amazing… I just can’t wait to see what he can do in the future! And excited to share his photo now that’s he more mature and the proud papa of my beautiful litter I have now.
“Ahsoka” (Bilbo/Posh) showed one of the days with her owners Shea & Dakota and did beautifully! This litter really turned out so well and it’s all because of their awesome owners!
“Jovie” (Simba/Alba) also had her debut and showed very well in her competitive BBE puppy class and kept moving up in her class. “Taylor” (Christian/Serena) showed most of the time by Lisa did amazingly also and I’m very happy that she’s coming out of her shell and looking beautiful!
“Rhett”, the token Pug won WD/BOW with owner/handler Jameson three of the days for three more points to his Championship! Jameson also enjoyed his last hurrah in PeeWees before he can do juniors in August. I am so proud of all the work he’s put into his dog!
Overall, I am just so thrilled to be a part of this fantastic group, thanks for allowing me to have the privilege of being the breeder of your dogs and I can’t tell you all enough how proud I am of all the hard work you put into them. Also, thanks to all who helped me with baby Collins, I know it’s not easy but I super appreciate you! Lastly, thank you to the club members for another fantastic woofstock and congratulations to all the other beautiful winners!

The Carnival Litter (Alden/Pixie) are four weeks old!
The fun is just beginning! They were introduced to puppy food for the first time yesterday and gobbled it up! Pixie is still doing a fabulous job of mothering but I’m sure feels some relief but not having to feed them around the clock anymore (plus who doesn’t love the leftovers!) Next week, I might start to stack them but they will also be getting their first haircuts. I can’t wait to see how they sort themselves out!

The Carnival Litter (Alden/Pixie) is 3 Weeks Old!
Thanks to superstar Jameson for helping with photos. They are getting cuter by the day and will start on puppy food after I return from the dog show (am now back and will be turning four weeks on Tuesday- more to come on that later!) Huge kudos to Roger for taking care of the crew while I’m gone! Pixie makes the job easy, too. Overall, never had an easier litter… knock on wood! I see so much consistency in their faces and love every single one of them. Very excited to see some personalities start emerging soon and will have them stacked on a table before you know it 🥰

The Carnival Litter (Alden/Pixie) is Two Weeks Old!
… and we have little eyes peeping out, I love it!! This is honestly one of my favorite stages of puppyhood. While they toddle on their new found legs, eyes peep open, are past the “danger zone”, and mom does everything for them. Another week of bliss before introduction to puppy mush and the mess begins haha. I am very pleased to share that both red brothers “Jakoba” and “Bubba” have been paired with their forever families over the weekend!
Jakoba, new name to be determined, has gone to live with the Morrissey Family in Northern CA. They own another Bellamy bred girl named Livy from my Djolica/Natalie litter and I’m sure will be best friends along with their adorable children!
Bubba, now called Bubbles, has gone to live with the Magats Family also in Northern CA. They own a senior Golden Retriever and Cavalier puppy as pictured and I’m sure are having the best time together!
I am so thrilled for both families and thank them for giving these two special boys such loving homes. While I had hoped for one of them to be another exciting show prospect, life had other plans and I’m certain they were meant to be with their new families instead. I know they will all have such a wonderful life together! 🥰
The 2024 ECSCA National Specialty was certainly one to remember!! 🏆 🐶
One of my best friends and I traveled the cross country trip to Asheville, North Carolina with 11 dogs and had a blast! It was a ton of work but also a ton of fun and always such a wonderful experience to get to see the Nation’s finest dogs and catch up with long-time friends who are just obsessed with the breed as I am 💞Thanks Kat for going with me on our crazy adventure, I will remember it forever!
The biggest winner was the Bellamy Matriarch herself, Merry at 9 years young, won a very prestigious Award of Merit under Judge Meghan Riese-Bassel at the ECSCA Regional show!! It was an incredible honor and something I have had on my bucket list ever since I took her home. She showed like a million bucks and we just ahd the best time together out in the ring again. Several of her progeny also showed and am very proud of them. It makes me so excited to continue on with even more fuel to breed the best English Cockers I can. Thanks for all your support and huge congratulations to all the beautiful winners! Until next year!…

*UPDATE: due no fault of his own, his new home fell through and unable to take him. He is still looking and will happily stay at Bellamy until he can find his perfect forever family!

With that said, I do have a spectacular 2.5 year old intact black male also available to a companion or grooming competition home. He is the absolute best boy and will make a wonderful addition. He currently resides with me and I’d prefer for him to be placed in the CA/NV region. I love him dearly but I know he deserves more one on one time than I can give him right now with my current show dogs. They just turned five months old (DOB 11/30/23) and are as adorable as they come. They are fully crate trained, leash trained, up to date on vaccinations, fine tuning house training, and accustomed to weekly bathing and trimming. They are both very social, biddable, playful and just can’t wait to find families of to call their own. If you are interested in one of these boys, please email me at [email protected]. They are located in NV but we frequent the Northern CA and can meet the new family or possibly ship depending on location. Priority will go to those already on our waiting list, especially local homes, but a fitting and loving home will be at the top of our list. Let me know if you have any questions!

The Lodi six shows in four days was a success! Many majors, GCH majors, group wins, and FUN was had between so many members of the Bellamy family!
We will try to catch up on emails this week. Next week will be spent with the kids for spring break as well as getting ready to leave for our ECSCA National Specialty in Asheville, North Carolina! It will be 11 days on the road, so please be patient with us during this busy show season 🐶
