McIntosh, Cortland and wealthy apples and Bartlett pears are ready to pick this weekend.

The tasting room is open at 10:00 this morning, and you can taste some of Liberty Ciderworks yummy ciders! Many of their ciders were made using our apples.

We are open 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday, and
3:00 pm until 6:00 pm Thursdays and Fridays.

Please remember to bring bags or boxes for your fruit and bottles/jugs for your fresh cider.

Most varieties of apples are ripe and ready to pick. We have McIntosh, Cortland, Liberty and Golden Delicious apples.

Cider pressing is available for those who receive reservations by emailing [email protected].

Tasting is allowed when we have a person who is “qualified to pour” on site. This weekend, Saturday October 1st and Sunday October 2nd, we will have someone here from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday until 5:00.

We open for the 2022 season September 10th at 9:00 am. The apples are ripening late this year, but the Summerred apples are finally ready to pick! U-Pick price is still 50 cents per pound. Hours are still 9:00 until 5:00 pm Saturdays and Sundays.

The tasting room for Liberty Ciderworks will be open at 9:00 as well, and several hard ciders will be available for purchase. Those over 21 will be able to taste the ciders this Saturday!

Cider pressing will begin Saturday September 17th. Instructions for scheduling your reservation will be posted next week.

We are now open! Cider is $8 per gallon and U-Pick apples are 50¢ per lb

Greetings to all from Bishops’ Orchard in Garfield, Washington!

We open for the year at 9:00 a.m. today (September 4th) for Apple picking. The Summerreds, Redfree and Wealthy apples are ready to be picked. All are delicious to eat fresh, and they make wonderful applesauce. Wealthy apples are a pie favorite of some people.

Cider making begins next week (September 11th), but only on a limited basis. To comply with Covid restrictions, we will only be using three presses, and reservations need to be requested via email: [email protected].
