Nezuko (Blitzen x Malady) and her owner Leslie in their first agility trial this weekend. This was their first time running on dirt and I’m super proud of them. They incorporated some really difficult challenge elements in their runs for such a young team, including a very nice 3 jump lead out and this lovely layered tunnel. Congrats girls!
Hagrid (TJ x Malady) working on prep for his upcoming PSA trial. He and his handler will be trialing for his PDC, and are prepping additionally for the PSA1.
Nezuko (Blitzen x Malady) brought her brain for agility practice! Very proud of these two working hard🥰
Happy Fourth of July! I’m sure everyone could use a little extra puppy love today. This is Joan of Arc having some cuddle time💕
Amalthea has been working diligently on her weaves (working on full twelve) but I noticed that she’s really started to nail her 6 set and wanted to see if she could run it “in sequence”. Since they are so solid I will likely be attempting to get her ACT1&2 before she leaves on a training vacation for a bit with a friend. She really is the best gift I’ve ever gotten.
Friday in the shade with the best girl is the best way to end the week 🥰
You could say I’m just collecting pointy brown things now
A short video of something we decided to work on. She picked it up pretty quickly. Only a two session deal. I need to get her an actual appropriate sized dumbbell for practice. She retrieved (with much difficulty) a toy for me the other day as well. So eventually she will hopefully be retrieving her leash and other dropped items for me.

Big man doing little baby things. Baby Boo is figuring it out with @these_wildthings
A little hunt drills now that I have total confidence in her off leash ability. First time seeing the playground. Surprise she can also apparently heel for her ball so there’s that lol
Reason #666 why I love her😍 She’s honestly such a little superstar
Wondering where some of our old dogs are now? We’ve had multiple dogs come through our home that for one reason or another did not suit our needs as a family and as a breeder. These are dogs that we purchase with the intent of training and keeping that just don’t quite turn out for our plans as well as occasionally the odd foster that we’ve had.
Here’s one of those dogs, Rellik, formerly Mischief. She’s been with her new owner for about 6 months now and as you can see it’s a perfect match. She’s owned and handled by a close friend of mine, Caitlyn, who fell in love with her during the time she belonged to me and Tahra, has been everything I wanted in an owner for Rellik. She’s a handler that can truly build a dog that maybe is a little on the softer side. She helps them gain the confidence they need to become the best versions of themselves, and as a you can see, IT SHOWS!
Rellik always had a love for bitework but wasn’t the most confident working with decoys or anyone but her handler when she was younger. Caitlyn has done an amazing job creating her perfect little sport dog out of all that potential.
We keep an eye on every dog we place. They are all a part of our family here at Emcat.
