Update from Marley & Co…..

We determined with our reproductive vet earlier this year that Marley’s next litter (scheduled for early 2024) would be her 3rd and final, due to her troubles with post whelping recovery.
Last month was her first heat since the celebrity litter and we opted not to breed her at that time so we skipped her heat.
Fast forward to last week, she abruptly stopped eating but continued to be her normal self otherwise. We then began to notice other alarming symptoms, but she was still acting like her normal self.
When I assessed Marley the next morning, I determined that we needed to call our vet asap. They had us bring her in immediately.
After 24 hours with the vet, she was sadly diagnosed with a uterine infection called pyometra and the only cure was to spay her, in order to save her life.
Marley had her surgery on Tuesday and is recovering well, getting tons of love and anything she wants to eat. 😂 We’re just grateful to still have her.
As for the Marley & Co. future, she’s still the matriarch of the program and will now pass the torch on to our other future Mamas and be around to teach them the ropes. Stay tuned for exciting announcements for next year’s litter plans and pray for Marley’s continued recovery.

Marley & Co. is looking for a guardian home for Karter! He will be between 20-25lbs and has an intense red, curly coat.
You receive an amazing quality dog at no cost to you and he remains apart of our breeding program!

Requirements:
- Live within 2 hours of our home zip 27603
- Use our vet and feed our food of choice Purina Pro Plan
- Keep up with routine vet care, including flea/tick/heartworm meds and grooming (We pay for any vet care associated with breeding)
- Fenced in backyard is preferred but not required
- Provide basic training that is standard of dog ownership
- No plans of relocating outside of the 2 hour range for 5 years
- Be willing to openly communicate and coordinate with us about the dog during the time in our program

Once the dog is retired from our program, he is neutered at our expense and full ownership rights are signed over to you! If you are interested please message me!
