Hey Fort Doggo family,

Firstly I would like to thank all of you for sending us messages asking how Freyja is doing. It warms our hearts knowing you all think of her and are sending her prayers.

So as of now Freyja needs surgery, it turned out Freyja was born without a cruciate ligament , and due to this her knee is completely unstable. She also has severe hip dowplasia in both hips

At the moment she is heavily sedated until we can get her the surgery she needs

We will continue to fight for her. Please keep her in ur prayers

Good Morning Fort Doggo family, we are asking you all to send prayers fpr our girl Freyja

Yesturday Freyja was at the vets she has severe hip displasia and a blown knee and cruciate ligament

We are awaiting a second opinion but the vet is not very hopeful at the moment for Freyjas future

Please please send prayers her way we need them now

Meet the beautiful Athena, another pittie rescue. As with many of our clients Athena suffers with high functioning anxiety ( more than likely due to her past)

Athena I have to say is one of the lucky ones her family are absolutely awesome and put her needs over everything. They totally understand her breed and also how her past has effected her.

I wish there where more people out there that can see what amazing members of the family these babies can be Evan after having the worst past!

This girl truly is a poster girl for rescue

I truly believe this is where we at Fort Doggo truly come into our own! This is why I do what I do! You could not send a dog with anxiety that functions highly to a regular kennel they need constant reassurance and love. Consistent training that not all humans are bad

When Athena is with us we work with her every day . Evan simple things like raised voices or a walk after hearing raised voices can set these babies off. They don’t hold grudges but the remember and they associate

So here at Fort Doggo we do everything we can to reassure and we spend every moment ensuring they associate humans with love amd kindness.

But working with our furry clients ( with anxiety ) in this way we help to ensure a long lasting loving home that will never be broken nor misunderstood

Unfortunately divo likes to take himself over to the neighbors for a little mooch about , but the neighbors are not keen on his breed 🙈 ( deed not breed prime example of being ) so we shall be working on his recall to keep him in his own yard

Hey Fort Doggo family.

So a very good friend of hers is having to re-home one of her Furbabies.

Meet Scooby, he is a 7 year old Husky
Great with kids , Great in the car infact great ALL ROUND

He will need to be the only dog in the home.

This re homing is Not scoobys fault the other dogs in his pack are elderly,and he’s trying to step up as pack leader.

Unfortunately they are not ready to step down . So scooby has had to be seperate! That’s no life !!

So his owner has made the very difficult and heart breaking decision to re home him.

Please reach out to me if you can offer this sweet sweet boys a home .

I have been having such a fun week this week. These have really kept me on my toes.

Alas our visit with Bear and Diva is about to come to an end.

But I still have the handsome Loki, the somewhat entranced Ruby( who spends hours in her yard just starring away at the trees 🙈) and sleepy Jess until tomorrow evening...

Oh and not to forget Yoda the dragon who is somewhat shessing and grossing me out ha ha ha

This truly makes a great point!

Our dogs truly so spend 75% of there lives waiting for us to return home from work etc.

Why not make those waiting hours a little more fun for them.

It is with great sadness, I have to write this post....

As some of you know. I took in a foster of a momma and her 6 puppies.

However, they were in worse shape than I had been made aware of. with tape worms literally crawling out of them. I had to put my dogs first and insist they be removed after failed attempts of asking.

Some horrendous and completely un founded and hurtful posts have been circulated by a local rescue about me.

We are currently putting together an official response. to put these allegations to bed.

Our attorney has been contacted.

Those that know me and my utter love for all Doggo types, know that everything I do is in the best interest of any fur baby I meet. I am truly hurt and shocked by the behavior of a local animal rescue.

Please note: All sitting, walking, and training will continue as normal.

I continue to thank all my wonderful clients for your support of Fort Doggo.
