Good morning everyone, let’s talk worms! What you’re seeing here is a microfilaria, a larval heart worm, swimming jubilantly through the blood of a patient we saw this week. This is serious stuff and is unfortunately the third(!) patient we’ve diagnosed with heart worms this month, and why we strongly recommend year round heart worm prevention for all of our canine patients.

🤧 Puffy eyes, itchy paws; the {pollen} struggle is real! Here Dr. Wolff shares how to spot seasonal allergy symptoms, tips for what you can do at home to help ease your pup’s discomfort and what AMC can do to help.

Fantastic, awesome news for Eloise! We are very happy to report that our sweet, furry friend has found a home! Eloise now has plenty of room to run and play, a new pit sibling and some wonderful, loving humans of her very own. Thank you to everyone that helped spread the word and share Eloise’s story. And a of course, a great big warm, 2 paws up - thank you to the Dieterich household for opening your hearts and home to this pup!
