💅 February was full of pretty pedicures!

I want to extend my gratitude to those that have been patient with my busy school schedule. I’m about to begin midterm week, so this semester is halfway over! I appreciate all of the flexibility, as well as the steady communication.

❄️ January— what a winter wonderland! Thank you to all my wonderful clients for ringing in the new year with Clark’s Pet Care.

☃️ Fortunately, my schedule has remained relatively unaffected by the winter weather. To those whose appointments were changed due to snowy conditions, I appreciate your patience and understanding regarding the delays.

🌈 I am taking a moment to remember the beloved pets that crossed the rainbow bridge in 2024. We also said goodbye to a few cherished companions in January. They will be deeply missed.

🍂 Oooooo, what a spectacular October!

This month was one to remember. From the drives in the beautiful fall scenery, dogs romping in leaves, cute photos of pets in costumes, and alllllll the generosity received in candy🤭, I really enjoyed October.

As we approach our holiday season together, I have so much to look forward to (and I hope you do too!) As the weather gets colder, I think about all the pets and people I get to care for, and that really warms my heart. 🧡

5 years ago, I welcomed Pumpkin into my life!

I was only 19 years old, and I didn’t have a lot figured out. But I had her. She was my first roommate; I remember her wagging tail as I unloaded a few boxes into my first apartment.

She would be napping in the grooming salon while I worked as a professional groomer— to provide for us. On busy days, I always looked forward to her cuddles on the couch.

Fast forward a few years later, she and I chose my husband. (😉) We later welcomed two kittens into our home.

I followed my entrepreneurial dream and started Clark’s Pet Care. But this time, it was not because I still needed to provide for us, but because I wanted to provide for others. I wanted to help pets and people in bigger ways.

When I reminisce on Pumpkin’s place in my life, I think about how she was my inspiration in a lot of ways. She stayed by my side through every twist and turn. She was always snoozing beside me in the passenger seat. On walks, she tends to take it slow and sniff every flower. This has taught me how to slow down and appreciate the simple joys, like sunshine.

Pumpkin is more than a pet - she’s family.

September was a special month! 🍂🍁

As a pet professional, I have worked hard to obtain my skills, knowledge, and experience. But I believe there’s more to this business than that. I believe in my capacity to connect with pets and people.

As a pet groomer, I promise to be patient and precise when trimming nails. As a professional daycare/boarding attendant, I promise to be fully present when watching over your pet and home.

As a pet parent, I understand how precious our pets are to us. I promise to cherish and care for them like they are my own.

Come out to the Allen County Marketplace for a fun event for Wags & Wiggles tomorrow morning! Enter a raffle, get pet photos done, and enjoy the puppy kissing booth! You’ll be helping a wonderful rescue while you do it. I’d love to meet you and your furry friends from 9:00am—1:00pm! ☀️🐾

Clark’s Pet Care specializes in house-call nail trim services for cats and dogs. Clark’s Pet Care started with a passionate pet groomer that wanted to invest in the pets of Dekalb County, Allen County, and the surrounding areas. Belle has enjoyed her position in the grooming salon since 2019, but she wanted to offer even more for her clients. After a few years of side-job experience as a delivery driver, she was inspired to take pet care right to the front door! Clark’s Pet Care was created in June of 2023 with convenience, comfort, and care in mind.

Visit Belle at the Allen County Marketplace on August 10th from 9AM - 1PM at 1010 Carroll Road (Pathway Community Church).

🐾 Clark’s Pet Care is dedicated to providing affordable pet care services! As my small business grows, slight adjustments need to be made. I appreciate your understanding.

My updated pricing list is valid for one calendar year, with a review scheduled for August 2025.

Existing clients will maintain their current pricing until rescheduling, while new clients will be subject to the updated pricing effective immediately. This update will be discussed and addressed during visits.
