We do not check text messages during the middle of the night. Dr. Nicole Schroeder successfully completed her 1st swine c-section surgery!!! Finished up at 12 am with live piglets!

Dr. Schroeder knocked it out of the park! Left Displaced Abomasum (LDA) surgery! Great team work with our awesome vet tech, Katie! Surgery went well and cow is healing up and feeling better!

Sometimes things on the farm do not go according to plan so we may need to intervene. Today it was Dr. Conkey who saved 3 baby goats with a c-section!

Please take a moment TODAY to wish the ONE and ONLY, Laura Yarde, a Happy Birthday! She helps to manage TWO veterinary practices, farms and raises cattle with BOTH sides of the family, keeps our home looking beautiful inside and out, pours her heart and soul out for our THREE kids... and even made room in her heart for the neglected dog I brought home from the office.

If this was NASCAR, you all know I'm driving the car with the petal to the floor and thankfully she is my Crew Chief, managing the pit crew, and telling me when I'm going to run out of gas! I'd be lost without you and wish you the BEST BIRTHDAY!
