Do what you love, and love what you do.
That's what we do here at JMTRA. I love watching these young ones learn new things as we learn to love and respect each other in our unnatural bond between predator & prey. There is a fine understanding between horse and human. We must communicate with our horses in a way that THEY understand. Let us help you understand that communication.
Get with us for a few lessons or training sessions before we are gone! We would love the opportunity to enhance the bond between you and your horse. That is what it is all about! Believe it or not, we are in the PEOPLE business, not the horse business. We build relationships with Rider's and their horses everyday, and we can't imagine doing anything else but that in life.
We absolutely hate having to do this AGAIN, but the rain happening once a week since the downpour at the beginning of the month, and Wednesdays rain (it hit us hard) just has not given the soil enough time in between to drink up the moisture. We don't have sitting water, and are draining just fine, but the saturation level of the soil is just still too high.
With that said, tomorrow's Playday is going to have to be canceled, or we will most likely end up with stuck trucks and trailers. We apologize once again for any inconvenience.
Ona positive note, we are so thankful for this rain and the grass that's growing to feed our horses and livestock🙏🏻
We are aware of the issues the last reschedule has already caused, and are aware of the lack of available weekends with the season starting back up in March. Reschedule is being discussed, but we are considering the option to refund everyone's awards fees, and canceling the series.
The arena is ready - let's hope this rain holds out for us tomorrow 🤞🏻
Does anyone need any horses desensitized? We have just what you need 😎🤠

An update on Willy from the vet today -
He came down with another fever last night, and again this morning. They did another ultrasound to see what was happening and his secum is inflamed again. He is being put back on IV fluids and antibiotics. They will be doing another x-ray on his feet in the morning to ensure there isn't any more rotation or sinking. He will most likely not be coming home this week like we originally thought. As of today the vet bill is at $10,500 ontop of our local vet bill. With the increasing care he will be receiving again, we may end up having to make a very hard decision if he doesn't show signs of improvement soon. We have expended all that we can possibly come up with at this time. We are asking for prayers that he shows quick signs of recovery.

We're ready when you are👍🏻🐎
Ya'll come on out! There's no admission to watch🤠
Under Construction, but still another beautiful day in paradise🤠🐎🙏🏻
The rain slowed us down on getting halter broke this week, but Daisy has come a very long way with even the short time. She is 150% less spooky, 150% more trusting, she keeps 2 eyes on me at all times and yields those hindquarters with me. She is lounging great as well. She has been roped and already working off of the pressure and release of the lariat. She lets me rub her all over with a flag and whip. She is exceptionally smart and she is ready to get a halter put on and move forward with her potential.
XTX CLASSY CORONA - aka Cannon is getting started today. All of these yearlings are up for grabs. This is their first week of groundwork and halter breaking, but they are on their way and sure to be some amazing prospects. Feel free to DM us for more pictures and information.
Some updates on the arena and cancellations.
So excited to see this arena being brought back to life after some rough treatment!! We are so thankful for Kirk Construction helping us get this done.
