2025 is here! My year of fundraising has begun to help the animals of the Humane Society of Northwest Indiana. Here's a way you can eat, drink and help animals in need.

The annual partnership event with THE SERVICE DOCTOR FAMILY OF BUSINESSES in Merrillville -- annual "TAILS OF LOVE," happens on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6th with a theme of "FOOD AROUND THE WORLD". Details are on the attached flyer included in this post.

Henry the dog that was found in a fire got a home and then came back to visit us with his Santa suit on for the holidays.

Our animals had a blast for Christmas playing with the different toys that were provided for our dogs and cats. We let the dogs pick out a toy and then they proceeded to walk to their kennel with the toy in their mouths. Thank you to everyone who donated for our sweet babies to have a special day.

Hello HSNI friends and supporters! Tom Lounges here. My wife Alice Lounges and I wish everyone the happiest of holidays and a very blessed New Year.

This holiday season, we are remembering our much loved and much missed, late friend Tracie Rans by donating these cute little stuffed animals and many cat toys to Humane Society of Northwest Indiana in her memory. We hope they will bring some happiness this Christmas Morning to the animals in the care of Humane Society of Northwest Indiana.

Each Christmas, Tracie worked closely with the shelter's Mary Ann Massa to make sure all of the shelter's animals got a little extra TLC, along with a special toy and a treat on Christmas morning.

Mary Ann admirably continues this tradition and will make sure these toys find their way into every animal's crate come Christmas morn. Thank you Mary Ann and bless your big heart.

As we head into 2025, please remember that our store -- Tom Lounges Record Bin in downtown Hobart -- is a convenient, year round drop off point for all items on the Humane Society of Northwest Indiana wish list. Merry Christmas to all!

Some of our shelter animals were thrilled to see Santa and asking him to find a loving home for them soon. All of these animals and more are looking for their forever homes. They are available at the Humane Society of Northwest Indiana and our telephone number is 1-219-938-3339. Please feel free to ask about any of our animals. Our wish list is now on Facebook and I know they would love some on our items from our wish list for Christmas!

We were so thrilled when this loving family decided to adopt brother and sister together as a pair. Stars and Stripes have a home for the holidays! Thank you for taking both from the same litter. Happy Holidays!
