Meet Dr. Missy Flint

Meet Dr. Melissa Flint! Originally from Barker, NY, you will not find a more compassionate fun-loving, or empathetic veterinarian in our Gasport community. Her veterinary career began after graduation from Ross University in 2013, and then led her to five years in Louisiana in some of the most fast paced and veterinary settings - emergency and shelter medicine.

Establishing the foundations of Flint Veterinary Center in Gasport, Dr. Flint has implemented an approach of holistic and integrative care for pets. In addition to general veterinary medicine, she works to strengthen the bonds between pets and their owners to enhance both of their lives. She strives to provide the very best in veterinary medicine in an environment free of fear, anxiety and stress for pets (and the people who love them!).

She's no "newbie" to pet behaviors or their health needs, being "mom" to three horses, seven dogs and a cat. She knows that there's no "one size fits all" approach to veterinary medicine, and will tailor your pet's preventive treatment especially for his or her lifestyle, age, breed, predisposed genetic conditions, and with basis in the most up-to-date veterinary protocols.

When Dr. Melissa Flint isn't at the clinic, she and her fiancรฉ, David, may just be out walking their dogs or cruising by on a motorcycle. (But probably no dogs on the motorcycle!)
